Admit it...as Blazer fans we needed another Kobe to hate...now we have one on the Lakers
They will finish higher than us, I’m not even convinced we will finish higher than the Jazz, Thunder, Pelicans, Nuggets, Mavs, or hell even the Spurs AFTER trading Kawhi. We'll see, as of now they have no good bigs and a PG who can't shoot and needs the ball in hands to be effective but they just signed a ball dominant player.
As a Blazer fan I feel like I just need to move on to another sport...True
choices....just watch college hoops insteadAs a Blazer fan I feel like I just need to move on to another sport...

College hoops, football, we have a good college baseball team a few hours away.choices....just watch college hoops instead
What gives the notion that they will without gutting there young players from the Lakers. I believe he will Laker just not this year. Spurs was smart they would hard ball with the Lakers and especially Leonard this year. If I did trade him it would be a east not west team.Oh they will
I just wanna blow it up, stop watching religiously for a few years, and come back to a different nba landscape.Hell we could even finish last in our own division and still be decent because Dame is that fucking good. But I don't see playoffs in our future now.
Get real Hater. They will finish higher than us, I’m not even convinced we will finish higher than the Jazz, Thunder, Pelicans, Mavs, or hell even the Spurs AFTER trading Kawhi.
In the dark days, LAL leadership was clueless (yes, including Jerry West)... and it didn't matter. Everyone wanted to go to the Lakers. If things somehow went south, they would just make all of their contracts end at the same time, and get the best in the league (e.g. how they got Shaq). Things changed with Durant, and later Lillard able to parley giant shoe deals while playing for small market teams - this had never been done before. Whispers among the players were that you didn't need to play for LA anymore, because salary were so enormous, they could just buy an extra house and live there in the offseason.I know, FUCK THE LAKERS, but:
This isn't anywhere near the same thing as Durant going to GS and joining a 73 win team or if LeBron signed with GS too. The Lakers have been crap for 5 years. He's also 33 years old with a ton of basketball mileage. Kawhi and Cousins are both hurt right now and may never be the same. I'm not really worried about the Lakers yet.
Lavar Ball be liked Lebron came LA to be number 2 behind my son

Sir, we have gotten worse, are coming off a sweep in the first round, have an incompetent GM, a limp wristed owner, and what looks to be a disgruntled star.Get real Hater.
I hope Lavar annoys the shit out of LeBron and makes him regret his decision. That would be great.
This makes the East easier to win. Happy cities right now are Boston, Toronto, and Philadelphia.
In the standings, all teams in the East go up a couple of wins, in the West, down a couple.
Man the Durant hate is so dumb to me. Lebron can switch teams on a dime and nobody cares. Durant gets shit because he went to the team who was winning the most. Okay well guarantee Kawhi goes to LA so what do you say then? how is that competitive what Lebron is doing? I just don't understandI know, FUCK THE LAKERS, but:

How can we get Kahwi? Can we do magic ... or can Paul Allen do whatever it takes to get Kahwi for one year?
I would trade CJ for Kahwi for one year.
