I really don't see how a VP is going to do so much to swing women anyway. If a women was headlining the ticket, then I could see it. VP is a subordinate role, chosen only by the Presidential candidate. If women were actually voting on who a VP would be, it might very well not be the one that McCain picked.
In 84 Reagan/Bush won the the women vote over Mondale/Ferraro so this doesn't guarantee anything.
Most Hillary Supporters have been Hillary backers for along time. They were Clinton fans. This women is new. She could prove to be very good but I already am fairly certain that Biden and Obama are going to leave it up to Hillary to go after her on issues.
Say what you want about Biden but anyone who watched the earlier debates know he's a good debater. During the VP debate, I don't see him going after her that day. I see him going after McCain and forcing her to defend McCain.
Can she do that because in the end people are going to vote for the president, not the vp.
