I can understand the butthurt from both sides, but that's why they play the game, just think if KS doesn't lose to Baylor we would have had nd/ks in the title game, blech

What's the other side that is butthurt? I'm not claiming that Stanford "should have been in the championship game" or they are absolutely the better team. I simply said a case could be made for Stanford being #2.

The whole "woulda won with hogan"

Same as oregons lame excuses, y'all lost

That's true. We lost. Did I say we should have been in the championship game because we "woulda won with hogan"? No. I'm saying that by the end of the season, with Hogan playing, we have a case for being the #2 team.

You did give up... when you went to UofO. I really should be more sympathetic... that was probably the best you could accomplish.

Haha I grew up in Eugene..I didn't go to UO..I just don't feel the need to promote where I went to school on a Blazers forum...ok I set u up on a tee go for it!

If your only lost was nd I think others might agree with you

Ouch. Even worse. I rest my case about Duck fans being college football's Laker fans.

I'll tell you who they didn't lose to: Washington

Did Standford really get beat by the Dogs? And there is a case they should be #2?

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha . . .

Ah, you're one of those guys that only looks at the record instead of the context guys?

Should Boise St. have been in the championship game the years they were undefeated?

Nope. Went to school there. Thanks for asking. I'm flattered that you're so interested in getting to know me for me, but I don't really swing that way.

You mean after Corvallis? I'm glad you overacheived at Beaver U but lets face it, it ain't hard. My high school classes were harder. I hope you have some hometown pride, though, wherever you're from, it's a good feeling! Goodnight!

Can you read? I didn't point to record, I pointed to the fact Stanford lost against a weak team.

But whatever kind of guy I am, your one of those guys (the only one) who thinks Stanford has a case for being ranked #2.

Learn how they rank in college football, then post.

I am totally over it. Maybe read the thread before spouting off about your lack of comprehension?

The duck fan is the first one to start throwing out the "we should have seen an Alabama vs UofO championship game".

My bad. Me sew dum cuz I didn't get graduated from Stanford like ewe.

And Duck fan was right.... We should have seen an Alabama v. U of O championship game. Everyone agrees. The media. The fans (except ND and lame Stanford fans).

Silly little guy... I'm an Oregonian myself. I went to OSU for undergrad. No need to feel inferior.

Oh sorry. I meant, knocking UO students/grads/fans. That's a significant part of Oregon, but not all.

And I don't feel inferior. Egomaniac douchebags that think they're better than everyone else just don't have that power over me.

We can split hairs all day, but the reality is the only people in the entire nation making this so called case for Stanford being #2 are Stanford fans . . . and I doubt most of them would say Stanford had a case.

If this was in a court, a judge would throw that case out! :)

The truly Standford-educated fans know better than to think Stanford had a case.

Wisconsin should have been #3. They lost 5 games by 10 points combined! That explains why Stanford looked like crap against them.

louisville beat #3 florida, who would have beat notre dame undoubtedly

#2 in the "heat index" for sure

Texas A and M should be #1. They lost to Florida because it was their first game of the season and Manziel hadn't found his stride. :MARIS61:

There are a lot of teams that I think could beat Notre Dame.

One of them that didn't also lost to Washington, for chrissakes.

But wait! That was before Kevin "Lights Out" Hogan took over the helm. He of 1,096 passing yards . . . for the SEASON! LOL. 6 Games Started, 1096 passing yards.

Haha. You're about ready to cry. Calling names, whining. It's sad, really.

I love this.

The butthurt duck fans are coming out of the woodwork all huffy and puffy.

Did you fanboys take off your Laker jersey's first?

they take in the teams whole body of work in the rankings for the most part

pretty easy to realize losing to washington doomed any chance to be ranked #2 ahead of a 1 loss team with a similar schedule

Seems pretty obvious, doesn't it?

Just last year, Stanford was ranked ahead of Oregon going into the BCS bowl games, yet Oregon beat Stanford 52-31 and won the Pac-12.

I must have missed blazerboy's post saying how Oregon should be ranked ahead of Stanford, even though they lost to LSU and USC??

I imagine if Stanford had actually beat Okie State, they would have ended up ranked better than the Ducks, even though the Ducks clobbered them in Palo Alto.

I thought Oregon was better than Stanford at the end of last year. And I don't think it is far fetched to consider that Stanford was the better team at the end of this season.

I see that you're making up things to argue against. Maybe you're posting in the wrong thread?

The ones who really know what they're doing most likely had all the teams ranked correctly in the end.

Super douche-baggery comment, here. You troll harder than the TimberTrolls. Congrats.

Guy has been a jock ridin troll for awhile now.

You know he cant resist a snarky little comeback to this post where he tries to jab me personally with some information he's read about me along the way.

I'm no internet message board profiler, but this case points to a guy who never gets any pussy.
