The new game time sales format is so dry (formerly Rice's ridiculous deal)...it was a lot more entertaining and FUN when Mike Rice was pitching the items...

BRING back MIKE !!

And the prices? 40 bucks for a t shirt is not a deal, dumbass marketing people. This segment in broadcasts defeats the purpose as it only highlights how exorbitant the prices are on the official site.

They really haven't had good pricing in the team store. Need some better tshirts too. I like the retro47 brand

Yeah I haven't seen a good deal on there yet this season. Ridiculous prices.

Even the old players that get traded....remain full price

It's not Rice...just liked him having fun with it...made it more amusing than what the new format is...so boring and one dimensional

they got rid of the deal of the game for tickets too. the corporate bastards :MARIS61::MARIS61:

The deals are ridiculous because the prices, are, ridiculous. I think the marketing people don't quite get the concept of a "deal".

I agree. Bring back Rice. But maybe he refused to shill their product when he had to take a double shot to bring himself to pretend it was any kind of deal at all.

Lol he was shaking his head at $110 jerseys

I agree...prices WAY to high for a "deal"...but at least it was more fun than the DRY promo they have now. I wouldn't buy a single thing with this
style of sales tactic...at least with Rice, you'll feel a little better about parting with your money.

Mike Rice trolled a Minnesota group shot, lol!

LOL. He photo bombed a family reunion or school trip?

Yeah the $60 pants marked down from $65 a few games ago put me on the ledge then the $110 jersey made me want to jihad the moda gift shop (with mo Williams)

Screw them I go to Fred Meyers where the shirts are a max of 20 and most are like 10 to 15.

There was a $40 flat billed hat a while ago too. And a $25 beannie wtf? I remember buying a $20 pair of socks at the gift shop because it was the only piece of clothing I had without a pinwheel. The price of being a real fan...

I get money put onto my season ticket card for paying in full every year. Every game I check to see if there is anything worth buying with my 20% discount and have found nothing. They have had a couple of season ticket holder events that offered deeper discounts, but still overspent for a jacket for my son and I.

That said, the TV deals are an absolute joke. It was only last year the team was offering real deals every game. I think everyone shakes their head when they have that crap advertised. They should make McGowan do the voice.

I have no problem with the other ways the team has increased revenue over selling tickets/merch/naming rights in volume though.

Yeah, it's more like ridiculous rip off.

I could care less. Even when it was Rice's ridiculous deals they were so high priced. The price is what is ridiculous. Just scrap it all together until they can actually have a true deal.

At least with Rice it was entertaining while he was trying to put some lipstick on that pig. I agree with the OP that the current ad campaign is a complete and boring fail, and not just because of the prices.

I would love to see it back. There are never good deals on the current promotion.

I bought a cool all-black T-shirt with the pinwheel in raised velvet kind of stuff for $ 14.99 on Rice's ridiculous deal and there hasn't been anything like that this year.

They need to make some bad ass rip city t-shirts for $10 without a giant wells Fargo shit all over it. They'd sell them like crazy
