BUCKS @ BLAZERS - MARCH 18TH, 2014 - TUESDAY, 7:00 PM (PST), CSNNW

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

I think having Freeland AND LaMarcus out is hurting a lot more than we expected. Especially Joel

the craziest thing about this game was for me.. that my father is a Bucks fans since 2010.. so he jokin with me the all day long that the bucks beat us and blah blah while the blazers are so inconstant ... so would have the bucks win.. he lead me on all day.. :D:D

so this was for me not fun :D

The Blazers need to get their confidence back (in close games). tonights game hopefully helps, but not having Lamarcus changes how their offensive flow is.

I really hope they address the defense during the off season, but not necessarily at the expense of the offense too much. Though it does need more inside touches.

The bucks played better p&r defense than us tonight. The 13-55 bucks Smh

Most teams we play against have the center come out and meet the guard coming off the pick and double the ball handler and give the PG time to recover, but Portland has the center sit back near the hoop, which gives the guy coming off the pick a ton of room to operate.

We don't like to hedge because Lopez is slow. OK, I get it. But we should do it at least once in awhile just to prevent the offense from running the same damn shit every single time.

If roy hibbert is mobile enough to hedge and recover, rolo should be. Unless he does that more often, terrys entire defensive principle is not going to be effective.

We do really miss Joel Freeland coming off the bench

Liar. Bucks fans don't exist. Especially since 2010.

Portland's 20-4 record (83.3%) against the Eastern Conference is the best mark of any West team against the East this season.

That means if you take out the Eastern Conference, the Blazers are a .500 team.

Untrue. The Blazers are 24-20 acainst the West, 20-4 against the East., according to my method of math. I get you point, though.

my real point was apparently lost in my ability to do simple math. Wow, that was pretty embarrassing.

Wes was great in the paint tonight - on the rare occasions he went in there. Why was that not a bigger part of the game plan? They were playing two small guards and Wesley's post game has come a very long way.

Just got home, haven't read this amazing game thread yet but wanted to share this......

Nicolas Batum is first Trail Blazer with 3 straight games of 20+ points, 9+ rebounds and 5+ assists since Clyde Drexler (April 18-21, 1989)

and this......

Damian Lillard is the first NBA player with at least 3,000 points and 900 assists in his first 150 career games since LeBron James.

ok thats enough.. im off.. this blazers team sucks really.. definetly not a playoff team.. but we will see.. hardcore roadtrip is the key..

I love reading this rookies posts in my head with a Borat accent.......#VeryNice

A Western team can only win the Championship by beating an Eastern team.

It is an absolute necessity which needs no explanation.

Nice to know we're the best in the league at doing just that.

Off the top of my head our losses to the east were to Washington, Philly, Indy and Miami?

Man, that was a tough game to watch last night in person.... Dame was just unbearable the first three quarters. I'm not sure where his head was at but lets get this out there.. Stop making bounce passes in traffic when there are three defenders in the paint; newsflash! the defense knows you're not going to shoot it above them!

Secondly, holy hell D.Wright couldn't buy a bucket last night. I don't see why we keep a dude like him in the game if he's just ice cold. There are other players that could have contributed (Claver) mainly being the guy I'd have liked to see.

Watching the Blazers defense from the club level allowed me to see that there in fact really is no defense at least from the guards on the PnR / screens. Again teams set hard screens and picks & we have no answer.

I also think Stotts needs to work on the high double team / trapping type stuff they are doing to our PG's. It's very evident that Dame just doesn't know how to handle it.

Glad they won, but wow!

Problem is I think that is how you have to play Lopez. He has been great for us and I think the Blazers are getting the most out of him. When we are going small like now with LaMarcus out maybe TRob could do as you suggest for stretches, but it doesn't appear that is something they practice. At all.

I was thinking just the opposite. Wes was effective when he attacked the basket, but when they deliberately force fed him the ball so he could post up with his back to the basket....it did not go well. I can think of at least 3-4 occasions where the ball was knocked away or he forced up a bad shot.

It reminds me of LA when they get him the ball too far from the basket and expect him to back in. I agree Wes has developed post up skills, but the ISO they tried last night was terrible. Not sure what the answer is but when the D knows it is coming, it doesn't work. He needs the benefit of some screens.

Another great decision by me on my sleep schedule. I decided 40 minutes before it started to get some snoring done. I've been hot lately except for that D-League game.

You have incredible self-discipline.
