Dame
Wes
Batum
Z-Bo
Sabonis

I'm assuming Oden would break and be injury prone otherwise I would go with Slys team

Dame
Bonzi
Pip
Sheed
Oden

That's a big team. Can defend. Can run. Can pass. Can shoot. Obviously this is just in imaginary land where Oden is healthy. If Oden isn't healthy

Dame
Wes
Pippen
ZBO
Nurk

C Buck $3
PF Nic $2
SF Drexler $5
SG Wes $2
PG Pippen $3

Defense would be amazing, pretty good 3pt shooting too.

I don't see how Dame can be part of an elite group here being $5 and a one way player. I'd pick Sheed above him in terms of building a contending team.

Dame is better leading a team to a playoff series win but then getting beat by a real contender.

Sheed $5
Cliff $4
Pip $3
Batum $2
Bonzi $1

My team would be a monster defensively with tons of length & being able to switch most everything. On offense the lane would be open for drives as everyone can spread the court.

STOMP

@WesleyMatthews and @STOMP are on the right path. Dame and Roy are overpriced for guys who never demonstrated a knack for playing off the ball. Too expensive to coexist. Pippen is the guy you want leading the attack.

The problem with picking Oden and assuming health is, clearly that assumption isn't part of the game or else he wouldn't be $1.

Dame
Uncle Cliffy
Pippen
ZBo

I think if you're building a team, you have to include Sheed. He would be so good in the modern NBA. I think Sabonis would be way too slow to play today. I also think people underrate Bonzi. His biggest issue was that he was a headcase, but overall he was very good for us for the first few years.

If Oden can't play then he shouldn't even be listed.

I guess that would change my lineup to:

$5 Dame
$5 Sheed
$2 Nic
$2 RoCo
$1 Bonzi

$5 Clyde
$5 Sheed
$3 Pip
$1 Blake
$1 Meyers

Clyde, Sheed & Pip for obvious reason.
Blake because of frequency.
Meyers because Sheed needs someone to throw a towel at.

$5 Dame
$5 Sheed
$2 Wes
$2 Nic
$1 Bonzi

$5 Dame
$5 Sheed
$2 Wes
$2 Nic
$1 Bonzi

I like this lineup; the speed and length is off the charts, and Sheed at center will cause problems for other teams, as long as we force our style of play on them. This team scores 130 a night and wins 55-60 games. Championship? Probably not, but wow it'd be a fun season.

My team would slaughter many of yours.

Offense wins clone basketball championships.

$1 - bonzi
$3 - pippen
$2 - Z Bo
$5 - sheed

and with my spare $1, Meyers, for my sins.
I dig that you take Stoudamire when everyone else is taking Dame as their point guard.
