The player photos / prices are no longer showing up for me…

let me guess

1. Dame -$5
2. Roy -$5
4. Oden -$1
3. Carmelo $1
4. Buck -$3
Assuming we get these players at their career peak? I’ll take this lineup

Yeah, I think if it's peak Melo that we'd all have him in our lineup for $1.

$4 Sabonis
$4 Porter
$2 Wes
$3 Scottie
$2 Nic

Got defense and 3 point shooting.

Shawn Kemp $0
Buck Williams $1
Dame Dolla $ 5
Clyde Drexler $5
Arvydas Sabonis $4

Sheed didn't have to be #1 on that team. Big shot Chauncey and Rip Hamilton could share those duties.

Sure, and Porter, Wes or others could do that too with Sheed.

Hell Porter usually took the big shot, not Clyde.

So you get a 65 year old Sabonis or at his peak? Must apply across the board, no?
I'm pretty sure due to the way they are priced that they are at the peak they reached while on our team... not in their career otherwise Melo is $5 for sure, Sabonis (given what he was in Europe) would be $5 but they are not priced that way. So it's fair to deduce that it's the best these guys were/are while in a Trail Blazers uniform.

Sabas $4
Sheed $5
Pippen $3
Dre $2
Bonz $1

That team is still missing the same thing that the 1999-2000 team is missing.

There is nobody on the team that will take over. There's no Dame. There's no Roy. There's no Drexler.

When you have Pip, Dre, Sheed, Sabas & Bonz.....thats good enough. Dre & Bonzi make a very sound back court. Sheed and Pip, those guys are true champions and yes could take over a game. Sabas would make all those guys better and keep us from iso ball.

It basically is the 2000 team except with Andre Miller in place of Steve Smith, Jermaine, Brian Grant, Schrempf, Greg Anthony, and Damon.

Crazy how stacked that squad was.

Extremely stacked... and yet they lacked a closer. Sheed could have been that guy. He had the talent. He just didn't have the attitude. In my opinion, Sheed was every bit as talented as Garnett, Duncan, and Dirk. He just lacked the drive. If you put Dame on that 2000 team, we win a ring or two.

Okay. I'll play -

$5 - (pg) Dame - 30.0 ppg, 8.0 apg, 4.3 rpg, 1.1 spg, 40.1% 3pt {2019-20}
$4 - (c) Sabas - 16.0 ppg, 10.0 rpg, 3.0 apg, 1.1 bpg {1997-98}
$3 - (pf) Buck - 11.7 ppg, 9.4 rpg, 60.2% efg (league leader) {1990-91}
$2 - (sg) Wes - 16.4 ppg, 3.5 apg, 2.4 rpg, 39.3% 3pt {2013-14}
$1 - (sf) Bonzi - 17.0 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 2.8 apg, 38.4% 3pt {2001-02}
$0 - (bw) Elleby - bench warmer and towel waiver

Good size, a balance of offense and defense, and can spread the floor with multiple 3 pt threats.
