I bought the game but I haven't opened it yet. I'm not savvy to these types of games. Should I keep it? Is it fun? Someone guide me, I'm a Madden, The Show, FIFA, NHL, type of guy...

If you're not into shooters, def not for you. First and foremost that's what it is. Then you get into deeper stuff like armor stats, and some armor works better with faster reloads on certain guns, but if you don't use that gun type, then that perk is worthless. Etc etc.

You lucky SOB. My playing hours are only available from 8-12 at night and even then, if the special lady friend doesn't want me to play the game... I ain't gonna argue lol I know my place.

I'll probably pop it in tomorrow. I'm off from both my jobs tomorrow for the first time in a long time. I liked Halo. I don't mind FPS, but I'm not like extremely crazy over them. I'll play it and post my thoughts! Thanks!

I'm in the same boat and I didn't get the game. If you like Halo type games then keep it.

So basically, I created my character and played through the initial in game teaching thing...if I had friends with the game, could they play with me through the levels? Is that what I'm missing?

Yes you can have your friends join you in a Fireteam and go through the story missions , strike missions, and do some regular roaming.

My son is loving this game! I've watched him play it and I'm not sure its a game I'll get into. It's very chaotic, kinda like Titanfall. Too much chaos for my old ass to handle/be good at. ha ha! The graphics are awesome.

havent seen that once. lost connection to servers twice I think. But never an error code. Just says that I lost connection. I'm on PS4 though.

It says error code: baboon. I googled it, seems to be a common problem that bungle is working to fix. Seems to be did to server being too busy

Not that it matters, but I had no idea there was vocal hatred going on for the game. Grinding, etc is making people mad... Umm did they not know what they were getting? Borderlands was same way.

Level 25 ATM. Grinding various marks to get the legendary items, but also farming engram drops at the moon or the earth cave. Great for leveling up your sub-class btw.
