Bush Signs U.S.-Mexico Border Fence Bill

It's a good thing. I blame him in a good way. Granted he only just now finally got around to it because mid-terms are coming up... but, it's a start.

There's a difference between blaming Iraq on Bush or blaming the economy on Bush and calling someone stupid for going along with HUNDREDS of people on an issue. If someone had made a comment about the Republican party, it would have at least been sensible to some extent. It's not an election year for him, but it is for the hundreds of people that voted on the bill. You see how logical thoughts can be connected to form sensible points in a debate?

Illegal immigrants work but don't pay taxes. if every illegal in this country paid taxes the government wouldn't care nearly as much.All Bush did was sign the bill which allows for the building of the fence. Congress actually made the law. Bush could have vetoed the bill, but it likely would have re-passed with the needed 2/3rds vote and became a law anyway.

I'm not saying you are saying that, but many people on this forum seem to have that impression.
