Bust a Scoot?

I understand why the thread was made. Valid question/discussion at this point. Yeah yeah he's young and it's early but I see your point. He doesn't seem to have any "generational" talents like LBJ size, KD shooting, etc. thus far.
You have a very wrong understanding of the word "valid." Read a dictionary.

I've opened many controversial thread over the years, i'm afraid this one may top all of them

I'm not stating that Scoot is a bust, but i'm starting to ask why shouldn't he be after watching him this preseason games

- He can't shoot
- He's not as fast/athletic as advertised
- He's not that good of a playmaker
- He can't defend without fouling

He doesn't seem to fit the 2023 style of basketball

What do you guys think?
Hilarious that it took less time for you to think about this about Scoot and it took Ant several years to get to that point here.

Fans will never be happy.

In an alternate universe, we would've been the 5th or 6th pick and ended up with Anthony Black or someone like that. If you'd rather that be our reality, be my guest I guess.

Honestly, threads like this are commonplace in today's "I have a phone, therefore I am an expert" social media environment. It's not going to change, and it will only get worse.

My all time favorite cringe worthy statement......which is suppose to suffice as some sort of recompense for an earlier outbreak of misguided prophesy.....

"I'm glad they proved me wrong"

Jeepers, the internet sucks sometimes.

scoot is goona become a better version of raymond felton

you decide if that means hes a bust or not

Guys I am going to wait 3 years until everyone agrees with me and it's really obvious before stating my opinion. Then I'll say I was right the whole time.

I'll also wait until Scoot becomes a HOF'er to say he has HOF traits. Then I'll say I thought that the whole time.

Well certainly everyone knows they are right before they are actually right.

No he isn't. He's not as good as some people unrealistically thought he would be immediately, but he isn't a bust
That's a very rational, reasoned, respectful response. However, this OP doesn't merit a rational, reasoned, respectful response.
