I’d say the Ducks are over-hyped, especially nationally (agreed with your assessment that they are probably not worthy of the #15 ranking), though my die-hard Duck friends are already writing off the season as a failure after that Georgia game.

I guess I see it as Beavs fans feeling like the glass is half-full, which Ducks fans are seeing it as glass half-empty.

I don't see the Duck glass as half-empty because I can't see the glass yet. Lanning and his staff only have a 3 game sample with one bad loss and one good win. Way too early to gauge. I said Beavs had a legitimate 0ffense and a suspect defense; so do the Trojans; and so do the Ducks

And by the way.... when I refer to Ducks and Beavers fans.... I'm only referring to the ones I know and/or have interacted with during this young season up until today. And the few articles I have read on the teams, so articles more factual in nature and recaps with quotes, some more journalistic in nature. I am not referring to all Ducks and Beavers fans, all media offerings. My comments on this matter are from my worldview from expressions of those around me.

I don't know why, but I feel that disclaimer is necessary.
 
Funny I am down here in LA and I just asked Alexa to play "sports talk radio" and who comes on but.....Mike Parker and Beaver talk. I have not heard his show since the 90's.

Parker had some issues but I love the guy. Proud to have him represent the Beavs.

Those are two different guys. Now those were the days of local sports talk radio.
Back then, Mike Parker loved a couple doors down from our detail shop we worked at. Have since got the chance to meet him and talk a few times while in Corvallis. Great dude!

If you don't care, then take my word for it. Just own whats obvious... that you enjoy some Duck trolling. I have no desire to waste my time showing the lengths you go to do it. Keep calling me out and I'll find the post . Your choice

Find the post. I don't remember ever saying anything other than i grew up a ducks fan. More than happy to call a truce because i have no beef and love your passion though.
