Beavers clock operator doing everything he can to help the home team

He’s better than Dinty Moore stew meat.

Way better.

Actually I quoted them almost word for word so not sure what broadcast you are watching?

one of them said it was an easy call. After the backside replay they agreed there wasn't as much contact as it appeared

When it's goal-to-go and the field is compressed with 10 players running around the end zone, that kind of contact is pretty common. That was normal coverage for Terrance Ferguson last season. Sometimes it's called and you can justify it; sometimes it's not called and that can be justified too. When I said the Beavers got lucky I was thinking about that; I was also thinking about it being a TD and a 31-3 lead for Cal if it wasn't called; and I was thinking about how shitty of a pass it was being a full yard behind the receiver and right into the DB's chest

I wonder if anyone told Oregon State they had a game last night.

Definitely it was a poor pass. Should have led the receiver better.
In the end poor play lost that game and not the call. I’m glad for that.
The Beavers have an anemic offense and it looks like it ain’t gonna get better. Next three are all just as tough or tougher.
The Ducks will decimate the Beavers this year.

I hadn't paid much attention...did the beavs lose a lot of OLinemen from last season? That OLine didn't look good. Murphy looked decent I though, for a 1st game. He was bigger than I thought but didn't seem very mobile

also, it almost looked like the OSU defense came out assuming a poor true freshman performance by the Cal QB and he jumped on them in the 1st Q. He looked pretty good, especially considering his WR's had dropsies on several long passes.

I think that Freshman is going to be a star. That kid just looked so good and so under control. Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele there. That is the last time I'm going through trying to figure out how to spell that. From now on he's just Saga.
I think Saga will be a great.

Like to see him stay in Berkley.

Everyone calls him JKS.

He played against OSU. They suck. But then again Cal’s schedule looks weak as fuck so I guess good for him lol.

Saga will have a huge year and he will command a bunch next year if he decides to transfer.
That is my prediction.
You know how predictions go. Usually wrong but sometimes right.

I think the Ducks made a huge mistake.

what mistake did the Ducks make?

He had committed to Oregon. He then reconsidered because he knew he was not going to beat out Moore or Novosad for playing time. So he then asked Oregon to allow him to rescind his commitment. The Ducks allowed it, as they should have. There was no mistake on Oregon's part unless you believe they should have kicked Moore and Novosad off the team

What a brutal game on all levels for the Beavs. Terrible coaching & preparedness, crappy play by the players in all aspects of the game, the dead vibes/crowd at Reser, the stadium/video board mistakes... everything absolutely sucked.
Unbelievable that Bray didnt call a TO to avoid the penalty at the start of the game when Cal was going to punt on their first drive on 4th down. Cal then goes down and scores.

I don't know what else Oregon could have done. He wanted a starting gig; knew he wasn't going to get it behind Moore and Novosad. Then Cal's staring QB entered the Portal and JKS decided to leave Oregon and transfer to Cal, where he initially committed months before. Were the Ducks supposed to lock him in the practice facility?

The only thing your list is missing is that reportedly Oregon had no idea he was going to sign with them. Everything I heard was that the announcement was a shock to the U of O staff. Probably because they were up front with him about the QB room.

See, the Spirit Mountain suggestion is looking better and better.

If you're going to the Civil War you should book at Seven Feathers. Better to drive an hour south than 4 hours north.
