And what's funny is conservative gays rightly consider her insincere and untrustworthy and Trumpers can't support her no matter how much she grovels before their god because she's trans.
She's just shit out of luck.

If Grenell isn't running I'll probably vote for MeetKevin.

4. The Housing Emergency.
• We have unaffordable rents and housing due to a LACK of homes.

• Instead of 80,000 new units per year, California via Emergency Powers will build 500,000 new housing units per year for 5 years.

• State will control ALL building and safety rather than local building departments (new jobs added / existing jobs maintained).

• Free permits, no punitive violations, and FAST permits for remodels and builds. 4 levels of permits with architectural and contractor powers.

5. The Transportation Emergency.
• Request proposals from the private sector to solve transportation emergency.

• OPTIONAL variable toll roads (new roads in additional to existing roads with tolls - giving drivers the option to take a toll road or not). More roads = less traffic.

• More peaker plants to prevent blackouts at peak usage.

• Authorizing improvements to existing natural-gas infrastructure to help transition us to a fully-green grid within the next 20 years.

• Ending costly regulations making it difficult for utilities to build transmission lines connecting renewables to the grid - permits for interconnecting renewable grids will be expedited through the Governor’s office - no more red tape stopping our green transition!

• Those who are trained and background checked SHALL have more rights in California.

• Tiered licenses for individuals with weapons training.

• Granting more privileges like concealed carry to more folks who are trained and background checked. This would be the first expansion of Gun Rights California has seen in decades.

15. Maximizing Biden’s Funding via Schools & Credits.
• Maximizing Free College plans by Joe Biden - helping fund our Future Schools - reducing our budget by tens of billions of dollars.

• Maximizing and facilitating the child tax credit of $250-300 per month.

• Alleviating traffic, increasing vehicle efficiency and reducing commute times by:

• Mandating the “Green Wave” state wide.

• All traffic lights are sync’d to posted speed limits so that, on a straight path, drivers consistently hit green lights to increase the flow of traffic.

20. The California Transition Bond.
• Our Emergency Transition will require initial funding.

• We will invest in California with a California Transition Bond that allows Californian’s priority in investing in their own state.

• Tax-Preferred Returns (leading to higher yields for ANYONE investing).

• Accessible to all and potential tokenization of the Bond.

Here's what I've got against him.
At his taxation rate, more than half the people pay no income tax and thus have no skin in the game. I think everyone should bitch about their tax going to something they don't like. After all everyone has different ideas on where their tax dollars ought to be spent. That's the American way.

I'm surprised she's polling as much as 5%. Besides El Prez, who is her constituency?

barfo

I'll vote for her. Of course I'm not a republican and I don't live in California, but what does that matter any more?

I would agree if enough people earned enough to pay taxes... If you're a family making under $250k in California you aren't THAT well off... I could see dropping it to $150k-$200k, but I don't know enough about California to know exactly where that line should be. But the fact that California has a 7.25% sales tax means everybody has some skin in the game.

Yeah they have skin in the game but not income tax skin and a few don't even pay sales tax such as food, rent, utilities, medicine, groceries and so on. Sales tax is for people who have enough money to buy things that get a sales tax.
Besides, I'm against sales tax in the first place because it's more regressive.

I agree 100%. I'm just not sure where the line should be... $250k seems high to me as well, but it is in California, which I hear is far more expensive than Oregon.

$250,000.00 does seem like they set the bar too high.
