I think it's awesome that we held on to him though LOL. Camby has been an injury prone center his entire career, and for the Blazers to not deal him when they had the chance was stupid.

I also think it's funny that so many people are shocked. He really has been an injury waiting to happen.

It will be interesting to see if the doctors remove the part that's torn like with BRoy or try to mend it like they did with Bynum. Bynum was out for much longer than Brandon, but it's arguable that the longer recovery time can be better for the future because they actually keep his meniscus in place.

"Not saying it" hasn't protected guys like Camby and Przybilla. Maybe we should start saying it. Start predicting it. Shame the gods by pointing out how predictable they are now. Maybe it's the only way to save Aldridge. Maybe I'm actually a hero.

I agree he's been working waay to hard. But I disagree we should have gotten rid of him, I think he would make the perfect back-up. Now we just gotta find that starting C....

Remember the time you first thought Roy was a Nate pick and a terrible draft pick. And then when it came to resigning Roy you said management was blowing it and there is no reason Blazers don't give Roy the max for as many years as he is willing to sign.

Was that an "I told you so?"

I am going to look it up in the Chronicles of NBA fan prediction history which is keeping track of all these predictions from so called "Nostradamus of basketball" to keep all of you honest. What? There is no Chronicles of NBA fan prediction history? That is almost like....nobody cares? :ohno:

I have literally been wrong on just about everything related to Brandon Roy since before we drafted him. I hated him in the draft, I couldn't believe they were delaying his extension. LOL I have no problem admitting I have never been right about Roy.

Deal coming soon took on a life of it's own, but I stand by what I know to be true about what almost happened.

I think we can all admit MM can be an ass (and I'm filing this post under "it takes one to know one"), but that deal he referred to was all but done.

What's funny about this is that you are almost describing one of the players involved perfectly
 
I feel like I'm in one of those bad dreams you can't awake from. One horrible thing after another keeps happening, and there's never any end to it--it just goes on and on until your stomach hurts so bad you think you're going to be physically ill.

You couldn't make this stuff up if you tried. NOBODY has injuries like the Portland Trail Blazers. It's gotten to the point where it just feels surreal.
 
Jay Jensen is absolutely fucked.

The injury bug has bitten Portland so hard that there is no way he keeps his job.

I don't have the slightest idea if the training staff is in the least bit responsible but blame will settle somewhere and Jay is the most natural scapegoat.
