CAN WE DO IT POLL?

There is this HUGE homer in me that believes if any team can come back from an 0-3 hole, it's these Blazers. They've been the poster child for playing well when their back is against the walls.

But the real question is "Did they not want to get swept or do they believe they can win the next 3?"

We should know by tonight which team shows up in the first quarter.

I don't want to say there's no chance, because there's always a chance, but I'm going to say that I don't know.

It all depends on whether this guy shows up or not....

Yeah I just think the main reason why we couldn't compete the first 3 games was mainly on Aldridge. When he goes, the team goes. The moment he got his head back in and dominated Splitter was when the team gained their confidence. I hope STRONG ALDRIDGE shows up tonight.

If the Blazers pull it off, I'm getting a pinwheel tattoo. It'll be my first and possibly only tattoo.

I think the first losses fall on Stotts. It sounded like he stuck with plan A in game 3, but didn't realize until after that that the plan was the problem. That is the only thing that gives me hope. I do believe Blazers could pull out four in a row against the Spurs, but they will have to play three more great games to do it against the most disciplined team in the NBA. Unlikely, but possible. A relaxed "why not us?" is probably the best way to approach it.

We will win or lose behind our bench. If they can score and defend, we have a good chance. If they can't score and defend, we lose. It's that simple.

Yes, there's a chance.

It seems that on other forums we are seen as an afterthought and people are already discussing "will the Spurs be able to beat the Thunder or Clippers?", "Are the Spurs scared of the Thunder or Clippers?" And things along those lines. I'm hoping and thinking that we will be motivated to comeback and possibly win this thing as everyone has counted us out.

Think of how clutch this team has been when the chips are down:
Think of the roaring start, the midseason fizzle, and then they pull out this great win streak at the end.
Think of how many games this year the team came back from double digit deficits.
Think of the Rockets series where we pretty much played from behind every game, until coming back in the 4th.
Think of Lillard's clutch series-clinching three.

The Spurs are great, but old, and the Blazers are young but very composed. I don't know that anyone will ever come back from an 0-3 deficit in the playoffs, but if a team were to do it I wouldn't be surprised if this year's Blazers were the ones.

I will join this club.

Edit: Imagine the shit HCP would say though. "Fucking nerds copying me!"

I'd vote for the third option, but I refuse to click on anything with "hellz" in it.

Aldridge had 32 points and 14 rebounds in Game 1. The reason we lost the first 3 games is because the Surs were making every shot they took and Lillard wasn't hitting his threes.
