I don't doubt the guy has an ego. And I don't doubt journalists have an ego about themselves. There's not a lot of jobs out there where you put your whole body of work out there for the public to view and criticize, and when you get recognized for it, you think you're probably more important than you really are.
In this case, it was probably wrong that it was put on the O-Live Blazers page for the die-hards who care about getting strictly Blazer stuff. But to me, that doesn't bother me too much.
It's not like it's rare for "celebs" (term used loosely in this case) to have foundations like this. They use their name recognition and connections for causes like this.

Canzano thinks at this point that his name is big enough to start something like this, and to me, more power to him if he knows he has enough people to support him out there.
I just don't see a big deal out of it, and I think it's because of the name behind this deal, more than anything, is getting people up in arms for something that seems to me to be a good cause.
