All while Chad B., the acting GM, sits and does nothing.

Me either. I have no confidence in Miller, Nate, Kolde, Vulcans, or Uncle Paul to make a basketball decision that's good for the future of this franchise.Crawford is our starting PG -- I have no confidence in Chad and Larry to make any smart (or bold?) moves to help this team.
Nate's under contract for next season.
Felton is perhaps the worst PG in the NBA right now, and it's time to waive him and just see what Nolan Smith can do for 15 minutes off of the bench.
Jamal Crawford is the starting PG right now. Think about that one, and tell me which coach in the NBA could make that work.
This falls squarely on Chad and Larry. Nate's system and Felton's game -- it was a sinking ship from the beginning.
McMillan will probably get McMillan ousted.
I didn't see that. Canzano is only saying that Felton and Camby aren't playing hard enough. His article is out. He has anonymous quotes and does everything but actually name Felton and Camby as the guys who are apparently against Nate.
If his goal is to sneak into the 8th seed he is not coming to his sensesAt least it seems Larry Miller is coming to his senses and that his deluded opinion of how this team has all its pieces is wrong:http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/i...sider_for_portland_only_hard_decisions_r.html
But he seems to think making the playoffs is the main goal for this team,, rather than actually building a contending team for the future. WTF. He should not be running the BBall side.
What the Blazers should do, is trade some of these assets away to teams who want some help in the playoffs. Camby, Crawford, and Felton have some rental value. I doubt any of them return next year anyway. Of the 3, I wouldn't mind retaining Crawford, but I don't think he'll want to return....
As for Matthews, remember how good he was when Roy went down early last season? What happened?
Players who are merely average in their best seasons have strong collapse risk in any particular year. Blake is a good example, though Matthews is notionally a better defender then Blake.
I don't understand the Camby part. I have watched him balls out diving on the floor more in the last 2 weeks then I can remember! He brings it!

Canzano said:Joel Przybilla was ticked after the game, and bee-lined to the locker room from the bench like a guy thinking, "I came back ... FOR THIS?!?"
Regardless of whether or not Nate is the problem, he needs to go. This team just needs a fresh voice so badly.
