It happens all the time here. You just don't notice because they are at forums very few people visit. There was no Stanford forum. She is starting it.

I was thinking the same thing. When you are a mod with zero traffic; then does it really matter? And if she brings in a bunch of people, in a forum with zero traffic; then she earned "mod status".

Maybe MM can start a new forum called "Ho hum" and be mod there? I can name about 10 other people that would join.
