I encourage ignoring me. Lennay figured it out right away. I'm just sad Lennay will miss out on all my humorous nuggets.
 
Anyway, sideshows aside, I'm glad the Stanford forum has a mod. A fine school, a fine football program, and I hope the Ducks stomp the bejeezus out of them this year. If there are some fans over there who want to throw down a little smack-talk come game time, all the better!

Stanford's football team may be very tough this year. Once Hogan replaced Nunez and got a game under his belt last year, Stanford was essentially unstoppable. They would not have lost to ND with Hogan playing and could have been in the championship game. They lose some of their offense at the TE spot so we'll see if they can fill that loss.

I got my season tickets, so I'll be there when we beat the Ducks in Palo Alto.

I can't wait until the Beavs lay the smack down on both Stanford and the Ducks this year!
 
MM being defensive and condescending in the presence of a female is about the least offensive thing he does around here, so let's count ourselves lucky.

I think the top 3 teams this year will be UO, OSU and Stanford. I don't know which order though.

The beavs have stanford in Corvallis, which could be huge. But the Civil War is in Autzen. Ducks come down to Palo Alto.

I think the ducks are going to take a decent step backward this year without Chip running the show.

i've got them as: Stanford, Oregon St. and Oregon.

Oregon will take a step backward and i don't think the Beavers are good enough to get over the hump.

the Cardinal will face some tough tests and could fall into a trap game at home against Notre Dame in game 12. however, we'll remember the stolen game from us last season and dispose of the Irish somewhat easily.

I think we'll beat Stanford. We should have beat them last year in Palo Alto and we're going to be better this year.

we'll see ... i'm gonna say ... Stanford will win that one. the Cardinal will be better this year and i just don't see much improvement in Corvallis.
 
The GA Bulldogs are my 2nd favorite team. Apart from TA&M, they played 'Bama tougher than anyone last season. Had they won the SEC Bowl (tough, tough game/loss), they may very well be current national champs. Woulda, coulda, shoulda, though. I understand.
