I would love if that happened, but right now is not looking good.
Sean Williams is too short and small to defend the post effectively. He relies on his athleticism so much that if he decided to bulk up and become a true post player, he wouldnt be very successful. He can turn into a pretty decent combo forward defender, kind of like Martin. But that would require him maturing a lot in the near future.

Boone...has always lacked fire. Even during his college years, one of the biggest knocks on him was that he didn't try hard enough. He's becoming a solid player for us, but I just don't see him becoming an elite, intelligent defender in the post. I wish he did though :>

Melo is still young and can improve his game. The guy gets personally mentored by MJ himself I mean what better teacher is there? I think he would do fine in NJ. Denver was a running team so he's already used to that even if it isn't his greatest ability. Thorn would have cash coming outta his ass from how many Jerseys and tickets Melo would sell. I don't see any negatives to him coming over to NJ. RJ is a selfish player I never really liked him I think mentally we would be better off without him, Marcus doesn't belong here as a backup and he knows it, Hassell is just Hassell, I love Sean Williams he's my favorite player and everything but I never really thought he fit in with our team and I'm not sure how long it will trake for him to develop if ever, and this is such a deep draft we can get great value at #21 and even in the 2nd round especially since all the mock drafts have us taking risky big men who seem more like a bust than boom.

BTW the new layout is a lot better.

well now they have it on hoopshype according to the bergen record, that the nets and denver are startin to talk

I would be so happy if we got Camby, being one of my top 5 favorite players and all. I could totally stand Melo if he helps bring Marcus here.

Denver trades:
Carmelo Anthony
Camby

New Jersey trades:
Richard Jefferson
Sean Williams
Marcus Williams
Trenton Hassell
10th overall pick

WOW.

would they want and should we give up DIOP in return?

Replace Sean Williams with KVH and Swift. Add Atkins to NJ. Denver will want some salary savings with the KVH contract. May need to add the Mavs 2010 pick too.

S&T Diop for...uhh...Diawara? Why not.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Al Iannazzone in Thursday’s Record reports that the Nets have had exploratory talks with the Nuggets about both Carmelo Anthony and Marcus Camby, but nothing is imminent. Iannazzone adds that while Denver is “not committed to moving Anthony yet … they are listening to offers”. Iannazzone also reports the Nets have a single $3.3 million trade exception available.</div>

Carter respects him and he's better than Karl. I think K-Mart also respects and I would think that Melo will get his opinion.

I guess so.. i would not mind if we got melo & kmart/nene at all. seems to be like a good trade.

The deal includes Camby who they want to unload. Old but blocks shots and has range with the jumper.

Work the magic Kiki.

Camby's also an excellent passer with good vision, something our offense desperately needs at the big man position to bust zones and find our guards on baseline cuts. Not to mention, he also gets his fair share of steals as well. He might be old and brittle but he's still at the top of his game.

to good to be true but i also dont see us keeping our picks this year and next. honestly, i'd throw boone, krstic, and rj at them and more if they want for melo and camby.
