He refused to leave the game in the 3rd when Karl tried to pull him.

It's OK if he plays vs us. At least he'll be out against a red hot Piston team. Maybe we'll pick up a 1/2 game there!

Anthony suspended 1 game by Nuggets

The Denver Post, citing anonymous sources, said Anthony refused to come out of the game in the third quarter when coach George Karl tried to remove him.

Whatever got Anthony in trouble wasn't apparent to reporters sitting courtside at the game, and Nuggets spokesman Eric Sebastian said the team didn't want to disclose the nature of the infraction. He said, however, that it didn't involve Anthony's technical foul after he argued about a non-call on his layup with 5:18 left in the Nuggets' 100-94 loss to the Pacers.

Anthony won't play in the Nuggets' game Tuesday night at Detroit. He will return to the lineup for the Nuggets' game Thursday night against Portland in Denver. The Nuggets lead the Trail Blazers by 1½ games in the highly competitive Northwest Division.

Love the fact that he'll miss the big game @ Detroit, but then he'll be rested and fired up for the game against us in Denver on TNT.

Hmm, insubordination by the face of their franchise as the play-off stretch begins. I like this news.
 
I'm not so sure the Thuggets are any better with Melo in the lineup. Sure, he's a dominating offensive talent, but when his shot is off, he keeps firing away. He puts himself before the team. Kleiza is a terrific talent at the backup three for them.
 
Looks like sitting Melo cost the nuggets a game tonight. I am so sad for them. NOT!!!
 
This article reminded me that he once got in trouble for refusing to go back into a game. Wanting to keep playing is better than not wanting to play, right? Was he suspended at all for that incident?
 
The Nuggets play better without Melo. They beat us with him on the bench in a suit.
