Yes.
Which dealer called you?
Is California offering any money if you buy hybrid or electric?
I think $7500? I heard you don't get it for Teslas though. I have no idea to be honest.
Kia makes a Niro plug in hybrid, that might get you the $7500. You should look into that if you like the Niro. I'm not sure what flavors the Camry comes in.

I'm just worried about maintenance, etc in a hybrid and a Kia to be honest. Toyotas and Hondas are easy and cheap to get fixed.
Meh, did it and it wasn't enough for it to make sense. No they are going to spam me. Shit.Sell it to a dealer. Go on KBB and see what it lists for, there is a section on the website right now asking if you want dealers to contact you to buy it.

Okay phew. I get plenty of spam as it is so no worries.Mrs SPD just told me to tell you that the spamming isn't too bad. She says it was mostly email and texts, only had 2 phone calls.
Kia comes with a 10yr/100,000 warranty.
Also, and I just learned this since we started this 2 days ago, the batteries in hybrids and electric cars are covered under the federal emission control laws. Car manufacturers have to guarantee the batteries for 10 years separate from the warranty.
OK, so I figured out what some dealerships are doing now with this. They are installing "dealer installed accessories" which are pretty useless. things like an alarm for $2k, some coating on the paint for $2k, etc.
The costco auto program doesn't give you discounts off these items or they only give you 20% off. Then they can claim they aren't doing "dealer markups".
You should be able to see the sticker of the car either on the dealer's website or the manufacturer's website.
I would tell them you don't want them. I'd say remove the car alarm and the "pro pack"
I remember they tried to charge us for some stupid ass things like a plastic sheet around the bottom of the door frame for protection. I told them I didn't want that. They love to charge for stupid add-ons and warranties.
Yeah, I asked what the "pro pack" was and it was a little piece of rubber the glued kind of like a mudguard on the bumper. I was like WTF.
Japanese or bust.
I got a second phone call, this guy wasn't as pushy as the first. I may be able to work with him to get the amount out of it I want.Mrs SPD just told me to tell you that the spamming isn't too bad. She says it was mostly email and texts, only had 2 phone calls.
yeah, my mom told me I should get a Jeep or Chevy maybe, I was like: no. The jeeps my parents had came up with a bunch of problems.
I had a mercedes, it was actually pretty great but anytime something needed to be fixed it was a thousand bucks.
