Up 21 after 3 quarters. LMAO at everyone that thinks the Spurs are a good team without 2 of their Big 3. I'm still pissed at the suckage we displayed there.

The Blazers replaced all their players with ADP and his friends, so they could have an off night. Sadly, ADP had a bit to much smack, so he just couldn't keep up.

Poor execution of a poor game plan. That is exactly why I'm so pissed still! Even after a nice big win over a lousy Wolves team tonight. The way we played in San Antonio was absolutely disgusting.

Well, we're clearly not a good road team. That's for sure. However, the loss to the Spurs without Duncan and Ginobili was inexcusable imo.

Portland is an average road team. At 13-17, the Blazers have a better road record than Utah, and it's only a few games worse than a few playoff-bound teams with road records around .500, like New Orleans, Dallas, and Houston. Sure, it could be a whole lot better, but young teams tend to be a lot better at home than they are on the road. I'm going to get sick of using that as an excuse soon, but it does tend to be the case, from what I've seen.

It's not rocket science why San Antonio won without Duncan and Ginobli... with them out, it was the Tony Parker show, right? And what kind of player lights us up almost every night? Speedy point guards who can drive the lane. Any player shorter than 6'5" who is faster than average torches us. Toss in a "second night of a back to back on the road" and a "injury-riddled team scraps for a win at home" you've got a 15 point loss for the Good Guys.

With Duncan, their offense changes; I'd propose that we probably would have done better against SA at 100%. Duncan isn't unstoppable, and with him in the game, there's fewer opportunities for Tony Parker to torch our matador asses.

Any single player in the league can be neutralized. It's just a matter of game-planning. I find it bizarre that we didn't do this as Parker was the only Spur we needed to be worried about.

It should be noted that Mike Brown came from the Spurs, and unlike KP he was a coach. He has Pop's playbook and I'm sure he has an advantage on how to handle what the Spurs throw at him.
