Ever since the Cavaliers landed point guard Maurice Williams, there have been rumors that they are talking to the Knicks about a big man, according to The Morning Journal.

New York has a number of big men on the roster, including Eddy Curry, Jerome James, David Lee, Zach Randolph and Malik Rose.

D:

If they got Zach Randolph...well, let's just say I'm not too sure if Lebron would be able to make up for that bit of utter suckage.

Lee would be a pretty good pick-up, though.

Who would they give up?

I'd love to see Zach Randolph traded to the Cavs. The casual fan would love it, saying "omg POST OFFENSE," and then watch Zach try to play with Lebron and hate their team.

Wally World, Delonte, Snow's contract

Hey I'm rooting for the Cavs to get Randolph. One less pain-in-the-ass team for the C's to deal with next April.

Please get Jerome James. LeBron will love that!!

This could be an interesting move. With LeBron and now Mo' Williams around, more pressure should be taken off Randolph to operate in the post. The Cavs would now have two reliable scorers to accompany LeBron.

The Knicks would be more than welcome to take that expiring contract off Cleveland's hands.

Based on what other GMs have managed to pull off with expiring contracts in recent years, I'd be aghast if the Cavs could only acquire Randolph with the masses of expiring contracts they still have. People with inside information within the Cavs do confirm, though, that they are looking at "four or five veteran big men".

Haha spot on, that sounds like most of the people I know. :]

Come on, take Zach! The Cavs will no longer have the lowest payroll in 2010 (will they anyway, after getting Mo?), plus LBJ will have had to put up with Randolph. One less team fighting for him.

Oooh you think there will be teams actually lining up for this goof in 2010? This league never learns. ;)
