If Magloire starts the Nets will no longer have to play 4 on 5 offense.</p>

Magloire like Collins can set excellent picks and can actually finish inside, not quick like Mikki but stronger. </p>

Why not.</p>

I like what Boston did, who doesn't but there will be a lot of pressure now on those 3 guys to come out of the east. Also, Allen and Pierce have had nagging injuries the last two seasons. As a Nets fan you know how bad it can get when the team puts too many eggs on a basket and then that basket gets injured.</p>

We have a solid starting lineup with or without Magloire in it. Offensively, we are not upto par with Boston, but we are more balanced.

I'm choosing VC over Ray Allen since Vince can create his own shot and shoot the ball. Kidd gets the nod over Rajon Rondo (and house) because in addition to comparing each player's position 1-on-1, I'm taking into account how the team functions offensively as a group, and Kidd's assists give him the bump.</p>

Well keep in mind that we're just talking about the starting five. Yes the celtics will have to learn to coexist as this chimera, but this shouldn't take too long. Just a little bit longer than it took RJ and VC to play together, probably</p>

As far as playing offense goes, having a good point guard goes a long way towards establishing chemistry. The Celtics are handing that job to a woefully overmatched Rajan Rondo. He's a good player, but I'm not sure he'll be able to integrate all those guys into a coherant offense right off the bat, or even in just one season. Also, don't forget that their coach blows.</p>

The Nets certainly have a chance to be the best starting 5 in the East, but it involves a lot of "if"s. </p>
