4 runs on 5 hits & 2 more home runs. This guy looks like toast. And btw: that was against minor leaguers.

If you look up dog doo in the dictionary you'll see a picture of Sabathia.

...I don't wanna hear that BS about how ineffective he was...just tell me again about his "velocity" and about "how good he feels"...that's all that really matters.

Yeah, that's all that idiot Cone was talking about, was that CC felt good. gimme a break.

Old CC will go out, fail, get pulled, throw is glove in the dugout and appear to be really upset about his performance. He'll say in interviews that corrective actions must be taken. He'll say he "feels good" and he does, every payday picking up that gift wrapped paycheck. I hope somewhere out there the Yankees have a pitcher that can step up and take CCs' place when he winds up on the DL. Ah shit, they traded Greene to Detroit. May the Katzenjammers & Cashman be cursed for their lack of quality descisions relating to the 2015 Yankees.

I think CC's been listening to James Brown all Spring, .......

If we see him do a King of Soul move on the mound, or Joe comes out to pull CC, and puts a Cape on CC, we know we're all fkd as Fans........Ooowwwhhh, "so good, so goood, I gotta you", (No you don't).....

Wow, good find of an article 59..........^^^...

I didn't know whether to laugh, or say WTF......

These paragraphs from that article, say it all, at least IMO....

How long before CC approaches Torre, and tells Joe, MLB needs to revise Strike and Ball counts to 4 Balls per walk, and only 2 Strikes for a K.....? ; or- 1st Pitch's can't be swung at...!

I got to be honest, not really knowing how much Creedence to lend the story, how 2 Bombs were given up to Minor Lg kids, or- are Hanson and Diaz ready for the Big Leagues, or is CC ready for demotion????

"I think there should be a rule against swinging at the first pitch of the game," Sabathia said. "That's my take. That's what I was thinking, anyway."

....WTF?

It was clear what Sabathia was thinking at the time, because he let out a clearly audible four-letter epithet as the ball left Hanson's bat, the same expletive he dropped when asked afterward how much credence he thought should be placed upon spring training numbers.

(Explexitives? "I feel good...?" No?) Fk, Sht, Dmn, no, these are all 3 letter epithets......

"I don't give a f--- what stock they put in it," he said. "It is what it is. I've had spring trainings where I've given up a lot of runs and went out and had a good season. I've had spring trainings like last year where I didn't give up no runs and I gave up five in the first game. Y'all can put stock in whatever you want. I'm not really worried about it."

CC, I'd be worried, WTF..... Because he had a good ST last year, in His own words, and a horrid 5 game start, He's going to Ace His Starts this year, really CC, WTF..... ???

That article was pretty much known to Yankee Fans prior to it being written. Despite the big money, and the "hold up" of an extension for more dough My Big Ju Ju, with a short burst against Baltimore in '12 had pretty much flubbed the Dub in "big" games. Had difficulty against the Red Sox and Rays, nor could he stop the Tigers in the playoffs. In some instances the man is as much a thorn in the Yankees Side as A-hole. The Brass let this man skate and he's getting over while the fans who contribute to his salary are getting nothing for their hard earned dollars.

Actually there is only one thing I can think of Fans get when CC takes the mound, Indigestion....!!!

Next thing ya' know they'll be handing out Prilosec's when CC's day to pitch arrives,.....

Uncortunately, the velocity took a step back compared to his last start and this is NOT GOOD and should raise an eyebrow.

Yeah they said he was 88-92 when in his prior start they said 94. I'll wait until the season starts to pass judgement.

My concern is that if he's having this kind of trouble against minor leaguers, hows he gonna fair against major leaguers.

I'm going to have to refer to posts #13 and 14 on that matter....and,
hate to sound like an idiot but, I'm probably going to have to wait until after a couple of his reg season April starts before I begin to just think about the shovel.
As he remains healthy.

FWIW- Yep, I can keep my Judgements of CC, thru April, IF he breaks even. If CC's W-L Record drops or never gets above .500, then the boo birds will be out.

I'd love to see CC find his groove, and be a steady Win for the Yanx,.....we all would. But- he's going to be under a microscope to others, IF he does not start out well, or rebound early......

Otherwise, CC may be escorted off, singing "Please, Please, Please" (The Cape Song).....

2 years & $48M more of his non-productive ass.

I found this interesting for 2017:

2017 - New York Yankees: (Carston Charles Sabathia): -

$25M Vesting Option, $5M Buyout 2017 salary guaranteed if he 1) does not end 2016 on the disabled list with a left shoulder injury, 2) does not spend more than 45 days in 2016 on the disabled list with a left shoulder injury or 3) does not make more than six relief appearances in 2016 because of a left shoulder injury

Well, here's hoping the Yankees have reason to put him on the DL for at least 45 days during 2016.

Is that anything like "giving a Lewinsky"? OH!, you said nodding head, sorry about that.

Rick...its getting a Lewinsky and giving head. Giving a Lewinsky looks like the kind of bad translations I see in China, lol!
