A recent billing practice. Sales reps are pushing for the lower priced plan. Anyone know why?

I'm thinking it has something to do with companies now trying to get you to switch by paying your ETF fees. :MARIS61:

bc to me it looks like the low cost plan is just a lease where you never get to own the phone and try to resell it...

Yeah the carriers are getting a little ridiculous lately. I guess we have to blame it on the fact that those stupid ass phones are almost hitting a cost of 1,000 bucks. F'n bullshit.

I didn't mind the 2yr contract for a free phone. Leasing phones is definitely bullshit

I don't get it, a fucking Ipad mini is like 250 bucks though. You're telling me shrinking the phone down a bit and adding cellular capabilities costs 500 dollars more?

I know. I agree. We are getting fleeced because companies can hide the cost presented to you over the span of 2 years, via the contract you sign up for + the initial down payment of something like 199.00.

I installed a Nettalk Duo on the boat Not even going to bother with a phone.
Of course I do have the ham net available. I can make a phone call that way.
