Both Top 10 players of all-time at their respective positions.
Both not necessarily MVPs those years.

You know what, you are right, your team has no ballhogs.
got to go with HUEVON', sorry Dynasty', but his front court is insane! Robinson? McHale? Amare? D12? Sure, Jordan & Pippen is nice, but none of his guards will be able to catch up with CP3, he'll just drive and throw it down low to any of those guys, and they'll just flush down on any of your big men's head, or dish for a 10-13 footer to Amare or D-Rob. & then you have, Gilbert, who's a good perimeter/3 pt. shooter, Carmelo a great perimeter shooter, aggressive slasher, Battier fine 3 pt shooter, and can play atleast good enough defense to contain Pippen. Let the team struggle and let Jordan shoot as much as he wants, 1 man isn't going to beat the team, it takes 5.
Maybe those players spent their prime years in the ABA.
GMJ had an orgasm over your bench, which isn't much different than anyone else's. It's not like any of these teams has a bunch of scrubs that are playing those 10-12 minutes.
Actually, DW's team probably would use a seven or eight man rotation - tops. He could have the Phoenix Gorilla and it wouldn't make any difference.
Are you saying I have low standards?

He never put an individual season together like McHale (26+ PPG in a slower league, led the league in FG%, outstanding defender). And Paul Pierce is solid but some people automatically dismiss him, yet I don't think that specific magnitude is insurmountable.
I'd normally be pissed at your sig, but thanks man.![]()
I'm curious but what's your game plan on slowing down Michael Jordan?
Also how exactly do you project your shots being divided up in a game assuming you have 90 possessions, 10-12 of those possessions are TO's, so you'll have around 80 shots to divide up amonst your team. Give me a full breakdown on your shots by each player from what you assume in this series.
haha' maybe this is more your style![]()
...but yeah, no prob'

You can say coulda shoulda woulda all you want, it doesn't take anything away from their MVP seasons. People will never be happy with who gets the trophy, just like their are people out there who say Horford should have won ROY over Durant. Fact is they got the MVP trophy because the people voting agreed they were the best. You may not have the same opinion, but it is their name on the record books forever.
And like I said, Willis Reed, Regular Season MVP, All-Star MVP, and NBA Finals MVP. He must have been doing something right.
On a side not, you could say DRob's MVP season wasn't necessarily his, Shaq could have deserved it
Read the thread.
My players are quite efficient with the ball for the most part, what are you referring to specifically? I don't see Iverson on my team.

Okay, so apparently you think Pierce or Vince Carter are going to slow down Michael Jordan....great reasoning
Dude, you want a slower or normal pace game, that's 90 possession these days, and you have quite a few guys that force stuff, so I'm being generous with only 10 TO's. I'm curious to see how you think your team would divide up 80 shots amonst them. Easy question that shouldn't be hard to divide up.
I'd normally be pissed at your sig, but thanks man.![]()
Uh no that is not what I said...
Tell me how these "quite a few guys" force stuff. Educate me.
No there's no shoulda's here, it is a team award.
All-Star Mvp? Lol.
Lol how do you find this stuff?
I love you.![]()
lol honestly, I got them from my friend, and I have no idea where he got them from![]()
Tell me how these "quite a few guys" force stuff. Educate me.
I'm sorry, I found some of this funny. CP3 is the end-all for this PG matchup, that's cute. Him and Deron are up against Earl Monroe, an electrifying scorer at the PG position, as well as Lenny Wilkens who was a top passing point guard who could play wonderful D.
"Flush down on any of my big men's head"...do you know who Willis Reed, Artis Gilmore, Dan Issel, and Connie Hawkins are? Gilmore and Reed won't let them "flush it down" over their heads, homie. Gilbert you say is a great shooter, fine, the question isn't whether he can shoot, but rather how many shots will he take. Gilbert is a chucker so good luck thinking he is gonna sit there and be our golden boy three point shooting Glen Rice. People act like World B. Free and Aguirre are scrubs compared to Carmelo, Kenyon Martin, and Battier. Please. World B. Free will run circles around his defender and Aguirre is just pure money.
Don't act like I only depend on MJ/Scottie. I built a team around them, a TEAM mind you. Jordan and the Bulls dominated the NBA without THIS kind of talent. I have rebounders and defenders in Reed and Gilmore, who are also capable of scoring given the opportunity, but again, not the primary role. Monroe will keep the defense honest. Monroe will make any guard he is against work on both ends of the court. Lenny can lead the second unit with scorers in World and Aguirre, who are surrounded by a hustle player in Connie and a stud like Issel. If Connie doesn't work out, I can bring out McGinnis, a Pacer legend.
Also, I watch Kobe Bryant play alot, might've heard about him. Shane Battier couldn't stop Kobe, don't act like he can step into the ring with some of the leagues best of all time and stop them.
Kenyon Martin is just as effective as that damn Phoenix Gorilla in this matchup, I'm sorry K-Mart. I watched K-Mart struggle against the likes of Mark Madsen, Slava Medvedenko, and Samaki Walker during the '03 finals (If I'm correct on the year). Good luck with these guys, and we dance better too.
So you say you would get mad usually at people saying Chris Paul was the MVP over Kobe, yet it's ok to question Steve Nash's and Allen Iversons awards? That's pretty hypocritical
I find it cute that you ignore, what is it, what would be a double or triple overtime game today in the NBA taking into account pace? Yeah and your guy Monroe didn't have the most attractive True Shooting %. Paul was the best point guard in the league last year, I wonder if Monroe could ever say that during his tenure.
Actually I know who they are quite well, I deconstructed them before. Even Amare is comparable to Reed as a rebounder btw, he has reached the 17.8 TRB% plateau before. I think Aguirre is quite nice though, props to you on that at least. My Bigs are simply out of this world, not your fault. :]
I've addressed this, Jordan and the Bulls never faced a team like mine and I disagree with your drafting process actually. Drafting people that didn't necessarily translate as well in the NBA is dangerous to me. My peak years are never put into question, some people simply prefer a player who accumulates garbage career totals.
Don't act like all the Legends are as good as Kobe.
K-Mart was always highly touted for his defense since day 1, and with my amazing depth at PF he doesn't even need to see the light of day. I'm very surprised you'd personally attack him like that, you obviously have no knowledge of his lateral quickness.
Here's the TOPG in their best statistical seasons....
Chris Paul - 2.5 TOPG
Vince Carter - 2.5 TOPG
Paul Pierce - 3.0 TOPG
McHale - 2.5 TOPG
Robinson - 3.0 TOPG
Dwight - 3.0 TOPG
Amare - 2.5 TOPG
Melo - 3.5 TOPG
Deron - 3.0 TOPG
Arenas - 3.5 TOPG
Like I said 10 TO's is generous, so bless me with your idealogy of how you'll split up 80 shots.....
And now that I read that.....
Garbage career totals? Wow.
And sorry for clumping legends with other legends. I fucked up major on that one.
