Chandler has lots of tattoo's. He must have a douchebag quality about him...
we could grab a Dragic and he would be exactly the scoring wing we need! And if we used T. Rob, Barton, our pick and maybe Claver; it wouldn't be much!I'm going to be really pissed if the Rockets or one of our playoff competitors pick up Dragic on the cheap. The Rockets having him would give them two herky-jerky, hard to guard left-handers.
I would be PISSED
Dragic would be a rental and he isn't a wing. He is a 6'3 guard.we could grab a Dragic and he would be exactly the scoring wing we need! And if we used T. Rob, Barton, our pick and maybe Claver; it wouldn't be much!
Get er done Olshey!
A wing is a player able to play the corners. Dragic can definitely play the perimeter and corners. He's also very good around the paint as wellDragic would be a rental and he isn't a wing. He is a 6'3 guard.
Leonard yes keep, if we get what we want than I have no problem letting CK go - lots of tweener/combo guards in this leagueIt's recency bias, but I wanna keep CJ and Leonard.
TRob/Willy/Wright/etc can all go
+999How many 6'3 combo guards do we need? We need a wing with length if we need anything. CJ is 6'3
I would not overpay for Dragic, he can be a UFA this summer as he has a player optionSomebody with a lot of cap space and a lot of picks is going to get Dragic, that's not us. We'd get outbid so fast for a pt guard that the Laker, Rockets, Knicks and Celtics need that I don't think if we were interested that we'd be where they'd send him. He'll probably end up in the east I'm thinking

Dragic has played horribly next to Bledsoe. He played his best at point guard. He wouldn't fit here and he would leave.

No, a wing is a SG or SF. That's it. PGs, PFs, and Cs are never "wings", even if they "play the corners".A wing is a player able to play the corners.
But Dragic has been playing SG. He's tall enough to play SG as wellNo, a wing is a SG or SF. That's it. PGs, PFs, and Cs are never "wings", even if they "play the corners".
Just because he's played it doesn't change the fact that he's a natural PG. It's like saying Marion is a PF because he played it in PHX.But Dragic has been playing SG. He's tall enough to play SG as well
I truly think our need is a player that can score and do so without other players setting them up. I would argue that Dragic fills that need.Just because he's played it doesn't change the fact that he's a natural PG. It's like saying Marion is a PF because he played it in PHX.
Don't get me wrong - I like Dragic a lot. He'd be an instant improvement to our bench. But he doesn't fill the need for a wing.
I think Dragic is unhappy being on a team that's going nowhere. Things change when you play on a winning team. Look at brewer, Gasol, josh smith and various other players that went to a winning organization..Dragic is unhappy in Phoenix having to play off the ball, he wants the ball in his hands at the point. He'd be an improvement but I doubt he'd be happy coming off the bench. Unfortunately the best fit for him right now is in Houston, really hope we don't see that happen.

I wonder what Miami wants for Deng?
Knowing 2k.. We're gonna have to deal Batum, CJ and our 1st for Deng and Chalmers lolTry it on NBA2k... never fails, amirite?

Yes I would love a SG/SF that is great at getting to the line (think Old Corey Magette), but I don't see players like that available. Adding Dragic would take a lot of pressure off of Dame to set up most the plays. It also will help get our players shots in rhythm, which I think Dragic does extremely well.
I think with Dragic you would be taking time away from Blake. I don't see them going that direction. I do see them going any direction. The players have let Neil off the hook so I am sure, he will stand pat.
