Nothing about Kirk is pushing anybody away from the left. Except maybe lies about how good he was if people are oblivious.

Sooo many see only what they want to sew instead of the full horizon of sight.
Anyone saying they haven't seen celebrations has a head in an echo chamber hole in the sand. and its just as disgusting as those who celebrated Floyd’s death.

It’s not about Kirk per say, it’s the reaction from people on the left celebrating it that’s making people second guess being in the left anymore.

many people have come out and said they didn’t like Kirk or even hated him but they would never wish death or celebrating it like others are.

not saying they will switch to the right but many have claimed they will go independent now because they don’t want to be part of a party that’s celebrating his death. I know a few personally as well

and regardless if it’s just a small percentage of people in the left celebrating his death, its still a black eye for others in the left as a whole. As in how can they stay in a party where a good chunk are celebrating his death.. a few bad apples can ruin the whole bunch.

and if anyone wants to bring up Kirk’s killer wasn’t on the left and this shouldnt be finger pointing to the left for blame is a different topic.

Agree! I only recently came to read the last few pages of this thread but seeing the responses of some people here, it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if some posters were doing the same thing earlier in the threads

Every single person on the left that I have seen has said that he didn't deserve that. Every single person. I've not seen one respectable person celebrate the way he was killed.

Some have pointed out that he was a piece of shit snake oil salesman. Which is true. He absolutely was a racist, bigoted, misogynistic, lying piece of shit.

And I have seen some others who have actually posted his quotes. Or even videos of him saying despicable things.

I've not seen one person question whether they were too far left over Charlie Kirk. Not one.

Even if we play the 0.01% of people shifted right game, statistics will tell us 0.05% or more have shifted left because of the disparity in hate crimes coming from the right.

weird how the many bad apples on the right that celebrate the death of or attacks on the left never deter people, but a few bad apples on the left do?
 
When your only argument is "well they celebrated Kirk dying with George Floyd dying" you lose.

Floyd was a person living life, and he wasn't overall a bad person, who got killed by a cop.

Kirk was a racist bigot, misogynistic asshole. It sucks he died, but he put himself in harms way for it with his hateful rhetoric.

One was a person just living in Minnesota.

The other was a racist piece of shit. A bigoted piece of shit. A misogynistic piece of shit.

Im torn on the death penalty.

I dont think he deserved to die for that. But he set himself for that to happen. Just like people who get the death penalty. They set it up. Whether its with words or actions, consequences are there directly or indirectly.

Absolutely. I've agreed with this for quite a while, but this Charlie Kirk thing has absolutely put the nail in the coffin of my respect for the religious.

I now consider the open-minded good people who are also religious to be the rare exception.

That would be the first example I've heard of any respected person on the left actually being happy about the Charlie Kirk murder.

But a city council member... Lol... I'm not sure how "respected" that is...

Why do they have to be respected? She said she hadn't seen anyone celebrating and I have seen quite a few people celebrating...... but I go on Reddit a lot and when it first broke that he had been shot I saw a lot of people saying things.
 
I don't do social media. I just saw public statements. Comments here were deleted before I saw them.

Less reported was Kirk's anti-Semitism. Aside from the usual Jews control the money ( still waiting for my cut) he said Jews treat "white people" the way we are treated.

Jews don't rate as "white people ".

I might be missing something but I haven't seen mobs of Jews in the street shouting death to Christians, killing and raping, burning houses and churches. Or requiring Christians to wear identifying badges. Or outlawing Christian worship. Or locking Christians in ghettos. Or putting Christians in death camps.

I might be missing something. But it sure isn't history.

Every single person on the left you havbe seen said he didnt deserve that? haven't seen one respectable person celebrate the way he was killed? Man, you really can't be serious in saying that. As others have said here too, you don't have to look far to see it. Not sure what world you're living in.

Then you say the way he was killed, or was it that he was killed, point blank? Weird way of wording it, "the way" he was killed? He didn't deserve to get killed in any way.

Then you go on to call him this and that, dude the guy is dead already. Then also saying George Floyd was a good man? and to be clear he didn't deserve to die either and it was also awful what happened to him, but I've rarely, if ever, heard someone say Floyd was a good guy.

Man, I don't know what to say, its really shocking how you and others on here are coming across if you ask me. I'm not sure why I'm surprised but I am because that's some low stuff if you ask me.
