“He didn’t deserve to die “THE WAY” he did”

Everyone is going to die. That's inevitable. I hope to die peacefully in my sleep vs taking one in the neck and watching myself bleed out. The way Kirk died was fucked up. In the list of ways to die, that's gotta be in the bottom 10%.

Come on man, you know what he meant. Don’t defend that.

he even tried to blame it on him using voice text the first time he said that, only to repeat it again and show his true colors.

My bark-to-text is horrible until I just got my new Google Pixel 10 Pro XL!

The new Pixel 10 Pro XL, if it's good for a dog, it's good enough for you!

My friend Dylan has a good response to that.

"Everyone dies. Well, not me. I plan on living forever. So far, so good!"

I readily admit to stealing that occasionally.

I know I’m telling you it’s def less than 99% who think his killing was acceptable, as in he got what deserved type plus making mocking him. You don’t have to look very far to see it.

We got a few people here too.

“He poked the bull and got gored”

“He didn’t deserve to die “THE WAY” he did”

That’s just a few in here.
Again. It’s fairly unprecedented. How do you mourn an asshole dying? Do you? Should people suddenly feel bad? If you think people are celebrating this just wait till Trump dies. Literal parties will be thrown.

How do you mourn an asshole in your view?

you certainly don’t mock and be happy be died like we have seen may times online, maybe your algorithm is set to seeing only left media idk.

but there is no reason to go back and forth with you guys.

but I do appreciate everyone showing their true colors at the end of the day,

Portland is even filled with more disgusting people than I thought. No wonder it’s gone down the drain the last 4-5 years

I can think that, and you guys can think whatever you want about Kirk.

Honestly, no. Sucks for family and friends. But considering how many people (like my mother) have long agonizing illnesses for months or years, bleeding out in two minutes isn't so terrible. Not advocating shooting people, but given a choice between multiple cancers or starvation or being stoned to death, as Kirk said I should be, I will take bullet to carotid any day.

Of course, I would rather die peacefully at home listening to Beethoven, eating ice cream, with my cat by my side. My version of Tyrion Lannister's often repeated wish for how he would die.

Yes. How do you mourn an asshole. That’s my question. Because for some reason the MAGA party is wanting America to mourn kirk. When we all know without a DOUBT, that the MAGA party would not for one second mourn Kamala etc. The holier than though bullshit is so pathetic and only truly stupid people buy it for one second.

They never mourned the lawmakers from Minnesota so fuck them.

I see how things are. I'm not sure how we all get there as a country, but the current path is certainly not working.

Social media in itself and its lack of moderation has become a huge problem. People are becoming more brazen in what they are willing to put out there. Fear and anger have taken over discourse.

The division is creating enemies between us all. How to fix I don't know. All I know is united we stand, divided we fall. We are falling. We are in free fall.

100%.
Starts with our youth. Children are now indoctrinated to social media through their phones. We cant take their phones away, they must be able to communicate with family and during emergencies.
But what about restrictions?
We have them for driving and drinking.
What about those under 18 are not legally allowed to own or operate smart phones? They must use flip phones that can still record and take photos, but removes the social media sites. Same for computers and tablets.
Is that something that could be constitutional and a serious option for further discussion and investigation?

Children’s brains are not equipped to deal with the amount of aggression and hatred that is all over social media right now. This is one of the few major obstacles I believe we have, as a people, that MUST be resolved in order for us to not dive into complete chaos of some massively bloody form.

1) restrict social media content from minors.
2) get corporate donations out of politics alltogether
3) have stricter fcc regulations forcing media news outlets to report the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
4) Love one another. Individually, in our daily interactions with people. Say hello and smile to the person you cross paths with on the sidewalk. Ease off the gas and let the person merge instead of gunning it and not letting them in.
Hold the door open for the people walking out of the store or into the restaurant as you enter or exit.

its these little things that I find gives me more and more peace, because its almost always reciprocated in kind. And the sooner we spend less time eviscerating each other online and more time spreading kindness in the real world, the sooner i think the first three can be conquered, because of the growing unification of positivity.

Interesting concepts.

AI has become a problem too. 3/4 of the stuff on social media is fake and people are falling for it.

Also bots, that needs to be taken care of.

I was reading up and thinking about this. Yes. Tragic to die in front of your family and friends like that, but how he died, seemed very quick and likely painless. It sucks he couldn't have those final moments with loved ones, but the suffering im pretty sure was minimal. In that regard, i could think of many worse ways to die.
sharks and alligators come to mind.

Sharks and alligators are fairly quick. Being tied down and eaten by seagulls or army ants would be worse.

barfo

Im fascinated by the thought that because one speaks their opinions they cannot be called a name.

Having an opinion does not free someone from receiving criticism.
