Imagine if Stotts was still the Coach with the current roster

Call it a gut feeling or whatever you want, this guy is gonna be a great coach. You can just see it. Players are locked in on everything he’s saying.
THIS IS a coach!
He has Charisma.some people just have it, its called personality and i dont think you can work on it
chauncey billups definitely has it
sure, but its bigger than just charismaHe has Charisma.
A lot of interesting stuff here.
We didn't get any of this access with Stotts from what I can remember. Hopefully this is something we see more of in the future.
- Working on pick up points / off ball positioning with Greg Brown
- Helping Nas with handling emergency help situations - talking through scenario if we are in "ice" on side ball screens, but ball handler rejects and gets middle and we need help at the nail.
Couple play calls
- "Delay Slash" 5 out spacing (2 on wing, 2 in corners, big trailing at top of key). Ball swings to the big and dribbles out the wing into hand off with corner player. "Slash" is the cut the wing player makes when the big dribbles at him.
- "Zip Wide" Not as sure on this one, but taking it at face value it prob involves a zipper screen to bring a guard up the lane line with a wide pindown screen for a shooter on the weakside.
Does Neil get credit for hiring this guy?

Stotts video was a bit underwhelming. Could it be just how the video was edited?
I think Billups is going to be a fantastic coach. While I 100% agree running our starting 5 back is a mistake and the cj lillard backcout is not goin to work and we have seen this by now., I wouldn't underestimate how much a coaching difference can make. Just look at the Hawks.
Because he’s a decent guy and they respected that.idk how Stotts held any players attention for more than one season he’s just so vanilla.

And a good fucking coach.Because he’s a decent guy and they respected that.
Terry was pretty active. Lots of video to watch on it.I never got to see Terry, but my gut says he had a style similar to Mo Cheeks.
Sit there during practice and let your assistants do all the work.
And a good fucking coach.

This one is longer than what I saw yesterday

You always go into extreme mode. There is something in betweenAmazed how anybody can have an opinion of him as a coach, GOOD or BAD at this point. Based on what?
Careful. You know who you are. Now that we have a Hall of Fame coach, there is NO way we are not winning 65 games this season, right?
@THE HCP has met and can confirm he seems like a great guy, but he will wait a bit to form his opinions on Coach Billups as a coach.
