It will never come. For them it has become a crusade. Short of the accuser coming out and saying she was wrong, they will not lay down their swords and spears.

Not all who are banned make it up, but those who come here with a story about being banned from there, say they're new here/never been here, but instantly post things here knowing exactly what buttons to push (or know the dynamics of the board very well) are the ones making it up.

similar to the people who come here, present themselves as though they "voted for biden" but are already sick and tired of him and rail on any and everything he does...well, it's a fake backstory of someone who was banned from here thinking they're clever enough to sneak back in.
 
So…..

Isn’t it ironic that a bunch of “journalists” failed to fully investigate the Billups situation and jumped to incorrect conclusions? But they’ve all called out the Blazers for not doing a proper investigation into Billups?

Yeah… pretty certain these guys will just let the story die rather than acknowledging any wrongdoing on their parts…

Yeah, those that were trying to protest Chauncey's hiring were jumping the gun. At the same time they still made Olshey look like a clown when their investigations turned up evidence that Olshey also didn't have the thorough investigation done he told them to take his word for.

So, like in many situations everyone came out looking like assholes. Unfortunately I don't root for the success of the assholes in the press but I have to hope the asshole running this team does the right thing.
 
still nothing about this article on blazersedge. It's just shameful at this point.

this is annoying me more than it should because they have such a big platform. if people associated with the team and national media didn't browse there, i wouldn't give a damn, but people from that page led the crusade against Dame and i won't ever forgive them for it.

or maybe Olshey knew all along that Billups was innocent and only made it seem like he dug deeper to please the mob. It backfired, but really the only thing that mattered was that the organization didn’t hire a deviant.

chauncey billups is a convicted rapist in their minds

this article doesnt fit their narrative, neither did the previous one
 
listening to powell, it seems like chauncey made him some promises, just like with nurk

theres only one ball and powell & nurk want a bigger role, so there could be issues there... but as long as they play unselfish bball, it should be fine, everyone will be satisfied with their number of touches

but if we get tunnel vision cj & powell, well, it wont be pretty
 
I guess the outrage over Chauncey’s hire is already forgotten. The same people that were so outraged on Twitter and “shaking” are still watching and supporting the Blazers. People that said they would boycott the team, still there.

They quietly and embarrassingly went away when that lead prosecutor came out and said Chauncey didn’t even do anything..
