Chemistry matters

Wow, I'm having flashbacks with all this talk about cheap swill. I think some of that stuff was produced for the underage youth of America because that was all we could afford in high school. Oh wait......cheap swill was all that America produced back then......preceding Regal Select (and generic "Beer beer", also with the puzzles) was Bohemian Club. Essentially it was bottom of the barrel Blitz Weinhard (an oxymoron if there ever was one). A six pack was $0.99, or you could get 3 quarts for $0.99. Our rallying cry as soon as school let out for the day was, "Gotta buck? Gotta Bo!" As fondly as I look back on those days, I thank God for the microbrew revolution. I'm just sorry Wookie missed it......

My band is named SWIL for a reason folks.. anyone wanna come get sloshed with us? hahaha

Only if you let me sing lead vocals while I do interpretive dance. My moves are already awesome, you add liquor and they just get awesomer.

If chemistry matters so goddamn much the Blazers will win this series. If the Blazers loose the series I don't want to hear chemistry overrides talent.

Lose not loose. Sorry it just irritates me. I agree with your post though.

This post is so utterly lacking in logic, reason, analytical perspective and common sense, I can only conclude you forgot the green font.

lol. So many things wrong, I don't have a whole day to do it in.

He does raise an interesting point. What kind of team chemistry do the Clips have? Egotists and whiners with a bitchy coach and his over-rated son. You'd think they would be as big a mess as the Rockets.

Nope. There's more that goes into it than that. It'd just take me too long to write it out.

And it doesn't matter.

Two game losing streaks always generate panic attacks...three game losing streaks more of an actual meltdown...winning does cure everything.

I submit chemistry does matter when the talent level is close....but it can only overcome so much. Chemistry got Portland to play hard all season and overachieve but now they don't have the talent level to turn it up a notch over a series. They may get hot for a game or two but they just don't have the pieces yet. Playoff experience is fine if it's good playoff experience but I'm wondering how much of this roster is still hear next season that will benefit from the 5-6 games of Playoff experience they might get.

I love the chemistry on this team and hope it continues to grow as the talent level rises.

But they aren't. The Clippers mesh together and play off each other and execute the offense (and defense) pretty well from what I can see. The Clippers, as a team, are whiny and bitchy, to everyone else. Maybe it's their bonding agent. I think their chemistry together is just fine.

Yep. The Blazers got playoff experience last year. And four of those five starters, and Afflalo, are benefiting from that experience on other teams this year. Shit lot of good last year's playoff experience is doing the Blazers (team) this year.

Yes it does make sense. The Blazers have better chemistry than the Clippers or do the not? If chemistry overrides talent then why aren't we winning the important games?

You're not a simpleton and I'm not a fish.

Cast your bait elsewhere.

If chemistry overrides talent

No one has said that.

What is being said and what you refuse to acknowledge is if two teams have equal talent, the team with the better chemistry, that plays together better as a team and not a collection of individuals, will win more times than not.

The Blazers overachieved this season. That is a fact. Not all but a big part of that was because of the great team chemistry we have.

BGD argue a point that no one actually said?

The fuck you say.

Some families chemistry is yelling and bitching at everyone else, including themselves.

My god, the Clippers are the Kardashians. :MARIS61:
