They are what they are, a mediocre team. Some of our wins were lucky this year, and we just can't defend period.

Im sure that blown layup by Hayes, or the blown dunks by yi were also Harris fault......

Yea he shoulda made those FT's but heres a newsflash, VC and Harris are the only reasons we were even in the game at all, as is the case most nights.
 
The thing to do out of this time out is try to get a quick open 3 to get a little momentum. But Frank will have them run the shot clock down and settle for a 2.
 
There still is a chance, put YI in................. come on Frank!!!!
 
No but his inability to play a lick of defense against Rose certainly screwed the team.
 
Here's the fundamental problem. Harris is shooting 33% over his last four games and yet he is the team's ''closer'' over Carter.
 
This is where the nets miss Jason Kidd, Kidd refused to ever let the bulls win as long as scott skiles was coaching. Now i bet the mavs never lose to the bucks.
 
the nets havel already lost, they're playing like there is 30 seconds left. at least go hard till the last possession.
 
We need adequate players to start as small foward and Power foward.

why would you not have cdr guard rose and let harris deal with gordon? cdr knows the kids moves and couldnt have done any worse than harris did. harris played horrible defense on rose.

I think this whole Devin= AI business has to end. Vince is the better overall player yet he is the second option in the 4th quarter?? I don't get it.

Exactly that's why I feel all this talk of playoffs, Lebron, we are better of than the Knicks, Devin Harris is an elite player, Harris and Carter best duo, Lopez is a future super star and all other non sense should stop.


This is an okay team nothing special and the thing that is scary is where are they headed. They are thinking James is coming what happens then?

Bobble-head Simmons must go! Don't care much for Boone or anybody else. Keep Harris, Carter, Hayes, and Lopez. Everybody else must go!!!!!

Well there are things to get excited about. the young bigs have shown promise, at least one should be a decent or good starter in the league. I don't think lebron will come, I never thought he would for what it's worth but maybe if they get in the playoffs this and next year then maybe they can lure a dirk or a yao or some of the "lesser" free agents in 2010 outside of the lebron/wade/bosh trinity.
 
I'm getting less and less angry when the Nets lose at home. It's becoming routine.
 
what irks me about this loss is that Deng wasn't even playing, he is arguably their best or second best player. we should've bagged this one. Keeping with tradition we will probably beat the pistons on wednesday since they are better than us. what a wacky team the nets are.
 
And what happens when Devin dishes it to Simmons for a three down the stretch? "Clunk" He's starting to learn that his teammates suck.

You said young bigs as in plural. Brooks is the only promising one and I'm realist I'll wait two years before I declare anything. Also Yi is horrible and will be back over seas in three years or a bench player. Kwame Brown Darko and now Yi.

Dirk already expressed his desire to play in Dallas and take less money. The mavs can keep him he will never bring any team a championship as long as he is the focal point

Yao? I live in Houston, you better believe Yao is not going no where. Also what does NJ have to offer any free agents? The team doesn't know where they will be playing or even if they're moving. Also what big free agent would want to come to a team where Arena is dead?
 
oh well, frank took out boone, put the slowest lopez in then the sky fall, ha ha... I know that, I just know that, why? I think frank would finally make some change.
