I might buy it...I dunno. The Rock Band 2 song is not that good at all. I did like the song they released off of it about a year and a half back (don't recall the name of the song), so who knows.

Axl Rose without Slash and the rest of that crew is nothing.

I think it was at least two years ago but the local rock station here got a leaked version of a new GNR song and was playing it. The sound quality sucked but the song was really good IMO. Then Axl sent them a letter threatening to sue and they stopped playing it.

Axl Rose is out of his mind.

+1.

Didn't he sack them all from G'N'R

only 14 years Late lol.
I think Slash quit after the Use Your Illusion albums, because he didn't like Axl's power ballads and wanted the band to be more hard-rock oriented.

Ah OK. Pretty weird i found this thread as i was reading Q magazine in my School Common Room.(I Don't buy it) and it was on Bon Jovi and it mentioned other 80's bands and it said about how he sacked everyone. But with a big Ego like Slash i could see him leaving

So is it coming more of a reality? As noted below, Best Buy has the album up, as well as cover art and track listing (which is below). From the looks of it...there might be a special edition, because Best Buy is showing a $13.99 one and a $19.99 one. As it is...here's the track list for you, as well as the link to get to the CD.

1. Chinese Democracy
2. Shackler's Revenge
3. Better
4. Street Of Dreams
5. If The World
6. There Was A Time
7. Catcher N' The Rye
8. Scraped
9. Riad N' The Bedouins
10. Sorry
11. I.R.S.
12. Madagascar
13. This I Love
14. Prostitute

Chinese Democracy

Wow looks good. Also Moo the more expensive one is on Vinyl.

I listened to the first two tracks. Do not want.

I've heard...3 songs off of it...Better, Chinese Democracy and Shackler's Revenge. I liked the latter 2, but Shacklers was...meh. It wasn't bad, but not as good as the other two. I'm probably going to go out and pick it up at some point today though.

So I did buy it and am listening to it now. I'll post my impressions later.

So I'm listening to it, and it's pretty good. It's certainly not going to live up to the 17 years of hype around it, but it is a solid album. Do note though, this is not the old school GNR, not at all. There's some hints of it here and there...but this is completely different than anything else they released in the past.

I finally got around to listening to it. It starts off okay--using that term very loosely--but as it goes on, the worse it gets.

It sounds like a mediocre (at best) rock band got Axl to come and be a guest singer. I'll give it a few more listens, but I'm not expecting much better results.

Atleast I get a free Dr. Pepper out of it.

I wonder if it'd be better received if it was billed as something else and not Guns N Roses.

I mean, who knows what the original band would have sounded like if they stayed together this whole time...but this isn't what they sounded like at all.

Worth the wait? No, but some of the tracks are decent enough.

I think if this would have been released back in the '90s, it would have been much better received by listeners. However, since we've been waiting what, 17 years for it, it's not going to live up to that kind of hype. I think it's a solid album, maybe even teetering on a very good album, but it really gets hurt by the hype that surrounded it and how long we had to wait for it.
