This situation is hard because Eddy didn't do this heinous act. To be able to even watch vintage tapes and DVD's, you'd have to be able to separate Benoit the character vs Benoit the person. It's hard for me because I've watched for over a decade, and Benoit is one of the originals. He's up there with the likes of the Hogan's and the Flair's if you ask the wrestlers. He hasn't been in the game as long, but he was one of the best ever. I wonder if they'll put him in the Wrestling HOF.

It is very likely end-stage depression. You basically don't even know who you are anymore. It hits you all at once, you don't plan what you're doing. The people (or person) you kill are always loved ones, this is because the person (depressive) suffers a mass hallucination where he or she believes nobody else can help the particular people (or person) and the depressive ends up killing for "their better." It is a psychological case. If indeed he suffered from this depressive issue then I haven't lost respect for him because you don't know what you're doing during end-stage depression. It is a case where intense psychiactric treatments usually can't even help the person. The person who suffers the drama always attempts suicide after killing, which most of the time actually fails. They are usually put in treatment centers for a year and then given a two to ten years prison sentance for murder. When those that suffer this get out of prison I'd say maybe only 1 of every 10 doesn't attempt suicide immiately after getting out. As I mentioned a very sad case, but until it is confirmed as to why he killed them I won't label him as a cold blooded killer.

As to the Hall of Fame, I'd expect the WWE to put him in the next HOF before Wrestlemania as they always do. You can't take away his wrestling triumphs and dedication.
 
Yeah i think the WWE will put him in the Hall Of Fame for sure they did the same when Eddie died so they should do it to him too.

Eddie didn't kill anyone though, lets see what happens.

Wow man thats totally freaky. The guy killed his own wife and son and lived in the house with the bodies for upto a day. And then killed himself. I wonder whats the reason behind all this.

As I mentioned before, he was likely at end-stage depression. If it turns out he wasn't depressed, well then he was simply a silent psychopath.

You can't really call him a coward. He must have been mentally unstable to do something like that. If you are mentally unstable, theres no telling what your capabable of. Thats why there are special homes for the mental, where they can get back into a normal state of mind.
 
The guy is definitely HOF material and was just nasty in the ring. It was horrible what happened? What made him do it though??
 
Chris Jericoh said he sent him a text message and it made no sense so he called him and Beniot said his wife burnt his dinner and he wasn't having that so he put her in the cross face but she wouldn't tap, and they said they caught him masturbating to a new wrestler or something ill post a link when i find it

A lot of rumors have been reported to have happened and what he said.
 
He wont be going into the WWE hall of fame if he really killed his family. Vince was forced to apologize last night for even doing a tribute show to the guy.
 
At first they were going to do one but after he killed his family, then had no choice but not to do one. Chris Benoit doesn't go to the HOF even though he was a legend, it's a shame but WWE won't put him in that's for sure.
 
Wow, that is terrible. How did they come to this conclusion? Could it have been a set up...lol, I think I've watching too many movies.

You know whats funny, the fact there is actually a Wrestling HOF, considering its all predetermined, its basically luck of the draw as to who gets pushed and who doesnt.

Yeah I thought of that at first when I first heard about a WWF HOF, but then I figured they put wrestlers in there that work their asses off and are the best in the ring based on what they can do to entertain.
 
Most of them are fan favs. and people that have raised the ranks. Look at Stone Cold and The Rock. Those guys are deff. legends. Chris Benoit would have been one 2 because he's been wrestling for like 15 years.
 
I knew these guys were kooky way back when, and this just solidifies it. What a nutcase.
 
It seems like something straight from a movie. It's crazy when you bottle up your emotions and become depressed.

I don't understand how someone could do that. Also on a random note i guess, his son had a mental disability too. Just it seems to fake, how someone could do this...Make me think that someone had to be born with a mind liek this, I could never just kill someone or my family like that, you gotta have a criminal mind for it.
