Apparently

The Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks are believed to have submitted trade proposals for Bosh to the Raptors, and apparently none has impressed Toronto.

...so the Raptors are saying they won't sign-and-trade Bosh. That would cost him a LOT of money.

I notice two names missing from there: the Blazers, of course (Aldridge + ?) but also the Lakers. I thought Bosh to LA for Bynum was a "done deal"?

I guess it will cost him a lot of money if he's angling for a full six year deal, but it's really only a few million if he's more interested in a 4 or 5 year deal. As for Portland I'd guess it's because he doesn't want to come here, and in LA's case maybe Jerry Buss does have a limit to how much money he's willing to spend on that roster? I'd also guess that (despite Bosh's obvious top 10 talent) that maybe he doesn't provide them enough shot blocking and defense to offset what Bynum provides them when healthy <insert Greg Oden comparison here>.

The second part makes sense. I agree he would get paid more in L.A. through endorsements.

Winning? I think LA isn't a bad place to go. They were recently sized for finger jewelry so methinks they might have some game in them next year. That said Portland shouldn't HORRIFY Bosh, especially if he can get a Max contract.

Definitely Toronto gets a far better deal from Portland in terms of talent. LMA > Bynum. Unlike Oden, Bynum's injuries have all been related and ligament/tendon related. Not good. I'm not saying Oden has been healthy, but Bynum's injuries would worry me more (sorta like Roy).

Unless the deal is something like Aldridge + Batum, then no, the Blazers don't make sense.

The only thing that makes sense for all parties is that Bosh listed Houston as one of his preferred destinations and they have the ammo to get a deal done that gives Toronto some great talent in return (rumored to be Battier, Jordan Hill, etc.)

Why would Toronto prefer LaMarcus? He's not going to compliment Andrea Punani's weaknesses because in fact they share a number of weaknesses (rebounding and interior defense mainly)
