Apparently the Lakers are shopping two PGs - Chris Duhon and some other guy. I'd be interested in Duhon - he's supposed to be a really good lockerroom guy, and there's no way in hell he's not a huge improvement on Nolan.

I'd offer Babbitt, but I'd be scared he'd turn into Kyle Korver for D'Antoni.

he's an improvement over smith, but where does that get us? An extra half win? Who cares if he's better than our 3rd string PG, really.

They have been shopping Blake and Duhon for a while now. Ward is the want to bring Fisher in.

Duhon was almost Sergio's equal when they were Knick teammates, so he'd be better than Nolan Smith, Babbitt, or Price.

I still think Steve Blake would be the perfect backup for this team.

why help the Lakers on teenie bit when in reality it does nothing for us?

A) Duhon isn't much better than Price if at all

B) not interested in helping the Lakers

I would do Nolan Smith and Luke Babbitt for Steve Blake and a 2nd round pick. That way the Lakers could cut Smith and keep Babbitt and add Fisher. Babbitt might do better with a team like the Lakers. The Blazers get a better backup PG who can score.

Why do you want the Lakers to get better? If we're gonna make trades, trade the Pistons or Wizards. Babbitt for Singler, yes

Listen, I don't want the Lakers to get better just for the sake of helping them but I believe by trading Nolan Smith and Luke Babbitt for Steve Blake and a 2nd round pick.that could really help out both teams.

Why on earth would the Pistons do that?

Look: Chris Duhon is better than Babbitt. It's that simple. Babbitt would've been waived if we weren't cheap. Getting a backup PG who can actually play (particularly on defense) and who is rumored to be a Chauncey-esque lockerroom guy would be a win for us. Who gives a shit about what it does for the other team?

I knew this year wasn't going to be pretty, but I'm having a decent time watching the games so far. However, when Chris Duhon and Travis Outlaw are seriously brought up as players we should look to bring in (how, exactly?!), then I don't think that bodes well.

Duhon is a pretty good pass first PG. he's not a good shooter or scorer, but he really can run a team. His lack of offense is why his PT has been limited. He should be fine as backup to Lillard. If Lillard misses any games, you're better off than having to play smith.

Those are actually the strengths of Ronnie Price. He plays good D and he is good in the locker room. We need someone who does those things and can score. Smith needs to be the guy traded. Not Babbitt. Babbitt is our new enforcer. LUUUUKe!

The guy with the DNP 's that I would like to get is shooting guard Alex Burks. Utah really liked Babbitt pre draft. I would look in to that swap.

Burke has a lot of potential. He needs a fresh start. Utahs gotta part ways with one of their young bigs at some point as well.

In other words, you want to help the Lakers.
