There are a few pressure points that would push me personally towards revolt (in no particular order).

1. Taking away our guns.

2. Regulating the flow of information on the internet.

3. Instituting any kind of religious regime.

4. Any kind of dictatorship, similar to what is happening in Turkey.

5. The Blazers moving to Seattle.

Articles of Impeachment don't violate the Constitution, as they are an enumerated power in the Constitution for the legislature. Taking up arms due to a successful impeachment would be taking up arms against the Constitution, not for it.

You know, I am truly amused. This dream of impeachment that CNN bangs on is flat out silly. Never going to happen.

.. that's what the investigation is all about, isn't it? If he was, there should be no issues to let the investigation continue.

It sure seems that the lady does protest too much, no?

Never before have we investigated a candidate for President with out a crime committed.
Never before have we investigated the President without a crime having been committed.
Never before have we investigated the President in search of reason to impeach.

Hmm, I may let the Blazers move, but I am in total agreement with you on the others.

You have no high crime or even the hint of one. That is a crime.

Yes, no one is suggesting impeaching Trump right now. It depends on what the Mueller investigation reveals. If it reveals high crimes and/or misdemeanors, that's when impeachment will gain steam. Or if Trump clearly obstructs justice, like firing Mueller/Sessions or preemptively pardons himself.

Never before have we investigated the President without a crime having been committed.

This is a little silly. The point of an investigation is to discover if a crime was committed. It's like saying, "Why are you investigating me for murder? You have no proof I even committed a murder!"

The investigation is to find out if a crime has been committed.

What is the point of an investigation if it is proven that a crime has been committed? Seriously - this does not make sense.

If there is no issue, there should be no worries about the investigation, all it would do is prove that nothing happened and the issue will be resolved. If this is the case, one would think the administration would be happy for this investigation to go on, that's all there is to it. The amount of energy put into blocking this investigation sure does not make it seem like the administration is 100% sure everything is as clean as a whistle.

This especially is absurd coming from an administration run by a man that went on a long-form birth certificate witch hunt that resolved to nothing.

Also, could last year's Clemson football team have beaten last year's New York Jets?

It is simply failure to recognize the loss of the election. Elections choose the President. It last for four years, not retried by endless investigation.
If you can not abide by law, then matter are normally settled by force of arms. Reasonable men normally stick with law.

If there is a possibility of a crime, investigations should happen, no?

And if there was election fraud or collusion, when would you suggest we investigate?

It boggles my mind that people who grew up during the Cold War aren't having conniptions about possible Russian tampering in our Presidential election. Have you people forgotten that they were the enemy not even 30 years ago?

The investigation is carried by a government agency following the letter of the law - there is nothing wrong with that - and as I said, if no foreign influence happened - the administration will come out of it smelling like roses - logically, and that's my point, the administration would be happy to have this investigation if they were so certain it was 100% free and clear of all wrong-doing.

If the election was won legally - that's great. If not - we as citizens would want to know that there is a way for us to know that if a foreign country is trying to meddle in our affairs - we have the legal ways to fix it - that's all I am saying.

Investigate the shit of it!!! You do not need a special counsel answerable to no one to do that. You have an FBI and a CIA for that function. Both are answerable to the President by the authority granted to the President in the Constitution.

Better hurry up, witnesses are dropping like flies.

If the libs win I demand the Mar Azul as reparations.

If the Trumpers win I demand to be governor of Oregon.

Of course you need a special counsel if he investigates the president, otherwise it will be like calling a murderer to offer expert advice in the trial if something made sense to do during a murder.

As a citizen you should be happy this is happening - it shows that we can be certain our votes are really what counts - not some foreign country. Honestly - to be against this would be, quite frankly, un-American. If we do not do that - what next, should we stop looking at spies and traitors?

We have a very unique situation here - I do not believe we ever had a situation where there were so many signs of foreign meddling in an American general election - and that's why we have such a different investigation.

It all comes down to one thing, if the administration is in the clear, it should encourage this investigation, not hinder it - because they will be the biggest beneficiary of it.

What is a crime? Mentioning that the constitution includes an impeachment procedure?

You seem to think Trump is being impeached. He is not, and will not be until there is something the house considers impeachable.
