You sure we didn’t lose him for a 2-3 week stretch before the playoffs started, almost positive we did. I was talking during the season, not playoffs.

yeah....10 games. But Portland was 8-2 in those games. They had better ball movement on offense and better defense. And Dame was Dame of course; averaged about 29 & 10 IIRC
 
At least we can see what Trents worth now. Maybe forcing Stotts to give Nas and Giles min now will be a good thing for the playoffs, which I still think we make with the expanded structure this season.
 
So because we have lost so much, does Coach Stotts get credit for any wins from here on out? Or are we still blaming him for everything?

well yeah, if tomorrow's game was the 2nd he's coached Portland, instead of the 720th
 
Stotts is garbage, this team is predictable, so much in fact I’m 9-1 (including the spread) betting on the last 10 Blazer games. (only Blazer games I’ve actually bet on this season). The pattern of let down games is very easy to recognize, especially after the past few seasons. He should go.

What other fucking team do we have to root for? NFL? Nope. MLB? Nope. NHL? Nope. We have one pro team (I don't count the Timbers) and we were born fans. I don't have to like the product that is being given to be a fan of the team. If you want to blindly support the team no matter what, that's your prerogative, but you don't get to tell other people how to support the team.

This is like telling someone "leave the country" if they're unhappy with the President.

I think his point is if being their fan makes you miserable maybe take a break or something. Sports should be a break from life and fun.

If I do I’m in the wrong line of work. I hit a TAMU(orange bowl) bet and have been on fire ever since. Needed 2 TDs in the final 6 min to cover. I’ve been even on the O/U during my Blazer streak however.
 
You can enjoy sports, enjoy basketball and enjoy being a Blazers fan and still complain about the team or criticize it. Part of the "fun" of sports fandom is analysis and sometimes that analysis is negative.

That doesn't mean you should stop being a fan of the team or find something else to do.
 
I want a Lillard to shoot 30 x a game like Allen Iverson. I want to see him average 35+. I dont care if we loose because I radther have dame shoot extra 10 times more than any other shooter we have on roster. Trent Jr is our only shooter left. We just lost 50% of our 3 pt scoring. So Dame go out with bang i want his usage to be like of luka 37% . I CAN NOT watch Dame drive after drive under basket take 4 opposite players with him and dash out for wide open 3 only for our guys to keep brickin it.

Out of all the horrible posts I've seen from you over the years (to go along with quite a few good ones) this one might be the worst. I follow them because outside of the Cubs (another franchise that was cursed for so long) they are the team of my youth that I grew up with. I've been to more Blazer games in person than I can count and as long as they are in Portland will ALWAYS root for them. That doesn't mean I'm not extremely tired of the Groundhog Day scenario that has become their seasons. There is a very real case to be made that this team has the best player it's ever had and is pissing away his prime with the same bunch of guys run out there every season. At some point a change needs to be made or it's just the same old tired routine every season.

yeah...it's painful for Blazer fans

one quibble I have is that we did see Dame-CJ-Nurkic all healthy entering the playoffs one year, and with as much depth and talent around that core as this season. And that team had HCA and got swept by the Pelicans

Dame has gone up a few levels since then.
CJ is improved this year.
Nurk was improving.

But, yes, we did see that iteration once, grated the ancillary pieces are far better now, on paper.

Of course. Complain away. If you watch games and it sits with you all night or all day or if you find yourself in a forum repeatedly ranting and thinking the team owes you something, maybe just re-evaluate your fandom. Again, I didnt post anything to anyone about this, someone else did, and i just chimed in what I "think" the poster was saying. Quit, dont quit, pick a new team or dont, i dont care obviously haha. I dont let any team ruin my mood, if it did, i would be pissed all the time. No thanks.
