Pierre Jackson is Mo Williams 2.0 Dribble-dribble-dribble....

:matrix:

Patty dribbled a lot too. Imagine a Patty-Pierre Pairing as Stampede teammates.

McCollum uses his size again to take one to the hoop.

You can pretty much guarantee that Jackson is going to jack up a shot if he gets the ball.

McCollum just overpowers. In this league he has the size to play forward.

You just knew that Pierre Jackson was going to shoot that.

Halftime. We're up 59-51. McCollum is more comfortable this game, but is shooting about the same as yesterday. He's dribbling like the PG, but then he shoots it usually instead of setting up others. I see how scouts thought he could be a combo guard, but I see him as a SG who gets a lot of assists by dishing off, not by playmaking.

How can a guy put up 6 dimes in his last game by shooting instead of setting up others?

Do you see him calling plays as he brings it down? In fact he is rarely bringing it down. He is dishing off, not conceptually playmaking. He thinks like a wing, not a PG.

Who said he's a point guard?

CJ finally makes a three.

Then bowls 'em over again for a high-arc layup over arms. His body is like the Round Mound of Rebound. Dantley too played that way.

Now that was some sweet ball handling and finish.

We led just about the whole game, but now when it counts, the league's best team just went ahead 6. But McCollum's been in the whole time and doesn't look tired like last night. So that's a plus.

Not pushing himself, but not tired. Still can't make a three.

Idaho has no chance to beat the Vipers.

He's missing all his shots, so maybe I'm wrong about his fatigue level.

He's best now as a decoy and then passing off. That's how a teammate just buried a long one.

End of the 3rd. Down 90-84. If I were experienced I'd be quoting those quarterly box scores.

Vipers are burying Idaho with the three. Which one of these teams is using Stotts' offense?

Idaho refusing to go away. I still don't think they have what it takes. Maybe CJ will have something going in the 4th, if he gets back in.

McCollum retires after 3 quarters like last night, so we're up 3 again!

Now he comes in. 17 minutes so far. Will now get end of game experience. 6 minutes left.

Lazy ball handling, he loses the ball.

CJ is definitely still rusty from deep, but his drives are money.

He got them into trouble, then he shot them out of it. He's made his last 2 or 3. We are 2 up. He has a strong body and can take contact as he shoots. 2:33 left.

His little runner is solid. He's not the shooter that Dame is, but he's a much better finisher.
