Great guy, and hope he is a better git in New Orleans.

I will always respect the man. CJ was a true class act. And he was extremely talented..... I just never liked the Dame/CJ pairing from a basketball standpoint, but that doesn't take anything away from him as a great ambassador for our team and our city. He will be missed.

I think his best performance was knocking out Memphis with a broken back in the bubble.

CJ needed a change if scenery and to be able to be primary scorer in a back court.
Pels now have three guys that can take over s game at any point. The big guy needs to be healthy and playing though.

Definitely appreciate CJ.
Don't agree with the "too small" backcourt thing.
Problem was he accepted way too much $$$ from us, making his contract too big a liability.

You were a great Blazer CJ but you didn't fit with your buddy Dame, not even a little. That being said, a total class act all of the time from day one. Good luck but also lose enough games that our pick is really good, obvioiusly.

As a Colgate grad, I tip my hat to my fellow Patriot League grad. Fare thee well, CJ.

I can't wait to see what he does after he's done playing basketball. He'll be doing something on TV I think. Not sure what, but something.

CJ was great here. Sad to see him go. Sure it makes sense that we needed to move on from the Dame/CJ duo with where this franchise is at now.

Still I'm sad we won't get to see these two compete in Blazer uni's together again. I was one of the rare believers that a team could win with the DameCJ backcourt, we just needed forwards that fit with those two. The best frontcourt they had was Harkless, Aminu, and a one armed Kanter which made the conference finals.

Good luck in New Orleans CJ. Definitely at the top of my list of ex Blazers I will root for.

I'll hold out hope we get him back, even if it is on a one day to retire here, and I look forward to entertaining the discussions of whether CJ's or LaMarcus gets into the rafters first. I still want a shot of him on the broadcast team before he goes national though.
