Trade CJ McCollum to New Orleans

It just needs to be backed up with one of their 8 other first rounders down the road. When it goes to Memphis we just get one of the three 2024 firsts.

I’m sure Dame will be thrilled with the prospects of a first round pick two years from now helping the Blazers to build a contender in Dame’s window.

If that is the trade, it's better length for sure and more time until the deadline. Who the fuck did you expect? Zion? smh

I'd be willing to bet that they're adding a 3rd team (or figuring out their followup) to take Bledsoe and the 2 picks, and bringing in Grant or Turner.

Maybe all of this talk about Ant has been a smoke screen and we are keeping all of these guards we're getting from the Pelicans and Ant is on his way out with other players for someone big time... or we will have a team full of guards.

Oh, and why NAW? because he makes 2M less than Hayes.

If it's CJ/Zeller/Snell for Hart/Sato/NAW, that drops our payroll another 10M.

You gotta wonder who else Portland is sending out? Zeller? McLemore? Snell?

Something else needs to happen. We don't have roster spots for 2 additional players. Additional teams or moves have to happen.

Maybe just maybe there's a third team involved and that's the work that still needs to be done.

Most in here felt CJ was a selfish non productive player, so temper your expectations on the return.
Hart is a good defender but will most likely wont be the lethal gunslinger CJ is.

If Bledsoe and picks gets turned into Grant, I'll probably have to take back all the crap I've said about Sell-low Joe. (but I'm not starting yet)

I've been steadfast on not bringing in Grant but it would be a better return than we've been getting in trades. That said... Sell Low Joe is a terrific name.

actually its the other way around, its not always about the money, sometimes it's where you want to live a raise your kids. He has all the money he will ever need and his brand is gold.

Bro at this point he doesn’t care about winning. All he wants is his super max by staying on the same team every time his contract runs up. And I say this because at this point look what this trash ass franchise is doing to building a contender around him.

After working with Olshey all those years, I’m convinced that Cronin thinks there’s a CBA provision preventing us from acquiring anything but guards.

If it's those three guys and two first rounders that's a helluva return and before we finalize the deal we need to be on the phone to a bunch of other teams figuring out how to turn them into someone bigger.

Vultures starting already. These idiots really think the team would trade CJ without telling Dame? And the salary cutting is obviously gonna be followed by giving Dame his super duper max extension.

Morons

Nobody is expecting Hart to be a lethal gunslinger, but to be an efficient scorer.

Wow we gave up Larry nance. Another first round pick from a few months ago dumped into a deal :(

Bummer to see Nance included but can’t say I will miss Snell

You know what we got in return?

I haven't seen the details of the trade, but I've seen the trade partner and the headliner for the other side. It wasn't a near all-star or lottery pick, correct?
