we in full tank mode now? what's with the fire sale?

Bro at this point he doesn’t care about winning. All he wants is his super max by staying on the same team every time his contract runs up. And I say this because at this point look what this trash ass franchise is doing to building a contender around him.
You cant blame Dame for taking the money and keeping his home here, can ya? He still has time to pitch his tent somewhere else down the road.
He's always sated he like a ship but it wont define him if he doesnt.
The plan now is to build around Dame for a few years anyway.

I’m beginning to think that he misunderstood his mission to build a contender. So far, it looks like both of his trades have made the trading partners contenders, not the Blazers.

Something else needs to happen. We don't have roster spots for 2 additional players. Additional teams or moves have to happen.

Or we send CJ and another player and waive Satoransky or CJ and two players

There better bit a sh!tload of picks coming back. To include Nance with CJ to get back Hart and crap is ridiculous. Not liking Joe.

If it's those three guys and two first rounders that's a helluva return and before we finalize the deal we need to be on the phone to a bunch of other teams figuring out how to turn them into someone bigger.
Couple days left and there is still the off season. We are now rejuvenation station.

That's all CJ is worth? Wtf? I would have expected Ingram for him at least...

After the Powell/RoCo dump last week, are you willing to say Cronin’s trades are reflective of our players’ true value?
To some degree, yes.

The main reason is that nobody has put together a sound reason why a GM, fighting to make his job permanent would be turning down a bunch of great players in other trade offers only to get marginal ones. If you have a reasonable theory, I'm all ears.

There is little doubt in my mind Cronin has a better idea of what ownership wants, how the cap works, what players are available, who is more talented than who, than anyone on this board.

Come on dude. CJ has value. He just never was a good fit next to Dame.

It is obvious we are tearing this shit down.

Face it. Our roster sucks right now.
Ive always though he had value but many in here sure didnt, and it wasn't just the fit with Dame.

The only explanation is money. Other teams want our players because they're good. We don't want them because they have higher salaries.
