So it doesn't go to the Pels if it's 11 or later...it goes to Memphis...but it's protected 1-10....is it protected from Memphis? or New Orleans? Doesn't that seem like the pick is protected 1-30? Which team was initially traded the pick with the top-10 protection? Had to be New Orleans, right

Scalma linked with some of the article by Fischer i think it was that the Blazers are looking to FLIP some of the assets from the CJ trade in another post so that would explain why an official announcement has not been made by either team at this point.

All i know is the one asset outside of maybe the Protected pick I kind of want the Blazers to keep is Hart but the rest I would not mind being flipped as long it's for the right piece.

Blazers should try to trade for every second round pick. Can't miss!

Yes my understanding was unprotected from LAL to NOP.

Then Pelicans traded it to Memphis unless it's top 10 in which case Pelicans keep it.

No but 3 1sts + 3 swaps + CJ seems like a Morey fleecing and sounds completely in line with other offers we heard floated for various teams player plus picks. Certainly, IF that trade was available it was far better than this.

My only thought on this is trading picks and maybe a young prospect for an all Star and absorb the contract with TPE. I don't know I don't really understand how that sort of thing works other than on trade machines.
