@theprunetang and @dviss1 we all picked 50-32...I guess great mibds think alike...or something like that
Great minds DO think alike, it's just that dumb ones do as well.![]()
Of course not. I'm calling the people you think like dumb
Still looking for the word "moron"Not that I need intellectual validation from a sports message board or anything. Also, I'm posting this with a smile.

I suppose I was paraphrasing.Still looking for the word "moron"![]()
I can see why it’s annoying he got suspended for a reg season game for a preseason infraction. But I also think preseason suspensions don’t have any impact or result in any hardship for anyone. There are teams who wish their starters would be officially unable to play in the preseason.
Define hardship. I am sure it is also annoying if a scrub misses a regular season game for one team while a starter does for the other. Not much hardship for the scrub or their team. But I still don't see where the rule specifies that the next game has to be a regular season game:
c. During an altercation, all players not participating in the game must remain in the immediate vicinity of their bench. Violators will be suspended, without pay, for a minimum of one game and fined up to $50,000. The suspensions will commence prior to the start of their next game. A team must have a minimum of eight players dressed and ready to play in every game. If five or more players leave the bench, the players will serve their suspensions alphabetically, according to the first letters of their last name. If seven bench players are suspended (assuming no participants are included), four of them would be suspended for the first game following the altercation. The remaining three would be suspended for the second game following the altercation.
You must be a nouveau Blazers fan. We have struggled there even we were a good team. Tough place to get a W.I don’t see the big deal. It’s the Phx Suns for god sakes. If we need Cj for them then we have bigger issues for this team this year.
Suns will win what? 30 games at most this year? Dame and Nurk should be more than enough to beat them
Exactly why you can't take the preaseason good or bad serious. There is no hardship on a team or player if he can’t play a preseason game since the games are meaningless. You can’t penalize a team by hurting their chances of beating a team from Israel. There is no impact. So in order to “punish” a team or player it has to hurt. When one of my sons gets in trouble I don’t punish him by making him play video games.
CJ is a legit playerI have a feeling that at this point best case scenario is now that the league has been called out for inconsistency that there will be true zero tolerance going forward. So maybe CJ has bettered the league in this way for the long run. Next time it happens with a legit player will be interesting.

Which one of you assholes is actually PapaG?
LOL at PapaG with the Twitter straw man. Some things never change...
Yes, I do remember that, but it has nothing to do with C.J.'s suspension.
Miles played for Boston in the preseason, but it wouldn't have mattered. He only needed to play in 10 games to invalidate his medical retirement (correct term). He played in 34 regular season games for MEM. So, the preseason games he played for BOS ended up being completely irrelevant - just like PapaG.

CJ has never missed a game in his career EVER! #64Wins.......... seeing if he still has me on IGNORE.Does anyone know our record the last two seasons when playing without CJ? I know we lost that game when Doc Rivers wouldn't let him play. Damn, we better beat Phoenix.
OK, then who is HAP?Sly is actually Papa Smurf. Is that close enough?
The one positive of this.Maybe Maccabi didn't count because it wasn't between two NBA teams. It was a true exhibition rather than a pre-season game.
I'm not taking a stand either way on whether that's right or not. I wish CJ had been able to serve his suspension against them, but whatever. More "us against the world" fuel for Dame to motivate the team.
Paraphrasing is for moronsI suppose I was paraphrasing.

Dangerfield was brilliant, so no.I think we’re the most insecure fan base in the league. We ought to rename the team The Dangerfields.
I really can't believe you guys are still bitching about this
FINALLY a post short enough I could get through without dozing off.I really can't believe you're still bitching about others still bitching about this.
Yes I can. Never mind.
