Makes sense. Shake some of the rust off, I bet he will be in a Blazer uniform in a few weeks which is very exciting.

You are underrating him, big time!
RE Strenuus' and my posts: The HCP started a second thread on the subject (since merged). We were giving him crap. You're kidding right? To me, this only means that they are trying to get him into the rotation and want him to be up to game speed.

This is not baseball. Bring him up NOW! You think the Lakers are going to send Kobe to the D league when he comes back?
I could be but I'm looking at the fact he is a rookie who didn't get a full training camp under his belt and missed a third of the season so it will take time to get him to click with everyone on the court.

The Celtics are sending Rondo to the D-League... So.....
CJ is not Kobe. I hope he will become a Kobe like player but for now he's not.
Well your not going to get him clicking with anyone on the court in Portland when he's stuck eating potatoes in Idaho! Wast of time

OK for one CJ is not Kobe. Hell CJ isn't anywhere near Kobe. This will be the only sentence CJ is in with Kobe. Second I'll ask again.....Where will the Blazers find time? Oh I forgot Wes needs a backup.![]()
He also won't get time here until he is in game shape and shakes the rust off and gets used to the speed of the game. That's what I see the trip to Idaho as a way to speed that up.

Very smart move.
For people that want to watch, hopefully they will have a game on the NBA Dleague channel on Youtube!

I know bro. It was only a couple of minutes apart. Good work.I thought id pass along the official press release. Didn't see the thread. I'm slippin in my old age!
He has that. How's his handle? Looked pretty good in his college vids. If he has better court vision than Mo...giddy up! I'm excited to finally see him begin his NBA career.Been watching him play 3 on 3 on the road..... I'll say one thing, he has a smooth shooting stroke. Kid can shoot!
For some reason I highly approve of this move.I will be getting my tickets tomorrow.

I'm so hurt. You have no clue how educated in basketball that I am. Your just throwing shit out there and guessing, when in reality you have no idea what you're talking about.
It will be interesting to see how long CJ stays with the Idaho Stampede. I can't help to wonder if the Blazers didn't send CJ to the Stampede to buy them some time? CJ probably just wants to be on the court playing.

Once again, that's clearly not the point.
I love when things like this happen. You can get an accurate assessment of a posters basketball IQ from their response in an instant.
Great move = higher IQ
Bad move = no IQ or troll

It was a merged thread. Calm down. Read my first post to the original thread. It's that simple.
