I think it's a done deal that those guys are being sent packing. That is why we drafted 2 guards and are pursuing Matthews, Farmar, etc.

I'm excited. A big trade is definitely going down.

Lol, last i checked Matthews and Farmar arent blazers....

I guarentee you, Bayless is going nowhere, unless its for a top 5 PG (Chris Paul)

Rudy and Bayless were both KP guys. It's obvious Nate doesn't appreciate their skill set. Not a chance in hell they are here to start the year

Hey everyone! Look at kingspeed!

I am not so sure you are right. I think they are looking to get rid of Rudy, and find a good back court player to pair with Bayless. Lots of names out there, but with the money we have, we will probably only sign one guy.

Agreed. Nobody wants him. We have to beg a team to take him as a throw in.

Erm Bayless was like our 4th or so bets player in the playoffs. Must say a lot about our team if we have to beg teams to take Bayless.

Oh fuck, I feel a Bayless argument about to break out ... hold on guys, I wanna go make some popcorn

From everything we've been hearing Elliot Williams seems like he can more than fill JB's role in the future.

We also heard JB was going to be the PG of the future hands down. Actually we heard that about Sergio too. Oh and wasn't Rudy set to be our starting PG for the near future?

;)

If Bayless does get moved, it's pretty amazing how similar their game is. Except that Williams appears to be longer limbed and a full inch and a half taller than Jerryd (judging his height in a photo compared to Armon Johnson). Of all the rookies I think he has the highest chance of sticking when the dust settles in three years.

Oh, I don't see him as a point guard, maybe a guy who can handle the ball a little bit, make the simple pass and defend both guard spots, but not a point guard. Best case seems to be Delonte West minus the crazy gene

Part of my point. 90% of the posters think every single blazer is an all-star. Even ABM think Freeland and Kaponen will dominate the NBA, and they can't even make the team!! Look, I hate to be the one to bust everyone's balloon, but JB is a poor NBA player and Miss America doesn't walk the streets of Portland, OR.
