40 free throws for harden is the minimum per game. Haven't you heard?

This was a good read... Way too many guys had gay experiences in high school lol idk about you guys but I've never went up and grabbed a dudes wedding tackle or vice versa.

Its fun watching the competition cringe. I dont hate on Houston though, Harden's phantom fouls are annoying but he reminds me of Roy. Ive found Houston's growth to be interesting, they were bad when we were and they took a completely different path than we did to get to about where we are.

Were they bad when we were, though? Although both teams missed the playoffs in 2012, it's actually amazing how opposite the Rockets and Blazers have been.

In this century (last 15 seasons), the Blazers and Rockets have only been in the playoffs in the same year twice, and I think we can all name both years. From 2000-2003, Blazers made the playoffs, Rockets didn't. From 2004-2008, the Blazers missed the playoffs, and the Rockets were in every year except 2006, which, by the way, was actually the last time they had a season below .500, somewhere they've only been 3 times in the past 30 years. It's actually amazing how consistently good their franchise has been.

We both rebuilt in different ways after loosing players to career ending injuries at around the same time and we both struggled with their injuries before that, tons of promise that never delivered for both teams. The Rockets took a more instant rebuild approach, swinging for the fences on big name FA's and trades with a talent over personality mentality. They suffered a much shorter dip in their rebound than we did but its been a bumpy road getting their stars working together and building around them. The Blazers went the opposite direction, we built around some key players we had, drafter well and lucky, made shrewder moves, focused on youth development and character and put wins on hold for a few years. The end result for both is now, the Lillard shot was our validation and our team plays more like a team. Looking forward I like our chances for long term success much more.
